Ocean View got its usual stellar pitching and added in the timely hitting it needed to do what no other team from Orange County had done.
It won the Little League World Series championship.

Did I say you did??? Calm down dude! Did I post anything derogatory against Ocean View? Reread my posts and you will see I congratulated them each time......They were a great team and had great pitching.
What more do you want me to say?
Invisib1e Hand seems to be in a less-than-stellar mood today. Don’t let it dampen the spirit of the victory.
I’m one city over from HB and would like to congratulate the kids on a fantastic job! Looking forward to a repeat next year, if it’s in the cards.
“What more do you want me to say?”
Not a thing. If you go back and look at the posts we have stated exactly the same thing, on at least some aspects of the discussion.
I already know the breakdown. Most leagues have minor/major ratio of 1:1. Huntington Beach does not. I’m not complaining about it, though. More leagues should go to the cut model earlier. Billings has never done this. There are typically fewer minor teams than major teams, because of the population base. Think about this. Billings Big Sky has 5 major teams; Ocean View had 6 major teams. Both major leagues had the same amount of kids per teams. Are you beginning to understand why there are 14 minor teams in the Ocean View League?
Here is the list of past winners.
