As of Survivor: Nicaragua, this is a new Survivor ping list. The old list is no longer available, so I would appreciate it if any of you could ping interested parties to this thread. Thank you. :)
If you wish to be added to or removed from the ping list, please let me know.
TY ES for the ping.
I’ll try to post some screen caps this season.
I can attest to that. He couldn't even afford clothes on the show. Ewww. Tax evasion, child abuse, and now destitute probably because his lawyers took it all. Kathy should have given the money to snake rather than the rat.
Never heard of Whitney Duncan but depending on if anyone else knows her, her cuteness will take her a way in the game. OTOH, Russell's nephew Brandon better keep his mouth shut about who he is or he'll be an early boot. He says he has a temper (though Jeff says he's nice) so that better be in check, as well.
A dating coach, a lingerie football player, a medical marijuana dispenser, a dance team manager, a Harvard law student, and a spoken word artist,.... sigh, looney tunes on the beach. Here's hoping the rancher knows how to start a fire.
Well at least it’s one and out at RI this season.
Maybe this will give more time for the real players still in the game.
Thanks for the ping ES. Looking forward to the new season!
We have become a bit jaded. Hard to please. We have seen some great contestants and some we love to dislike.
Still the bloom is off the rose!
Thank you, for the notice. I appreciate your diligence very much.

Can Rupert 'Survive' A Run For Indiana Governor?: Indiana 'Survivor' Weighs Libertarian Candidacy
Count me in, thanks!
The poll is showing 52% against him. He doesn’t have any experience but he might get some traction with his common man stance.

'Survivor: South Pacific': Will the Playboy centerfold and mortician stand a chance?
From the video, Jeff says Semhar doesn’t deserve to stay so she’s definitely not the first boot. He says it’s “Redemption” for Ozzy getting the boot while holding the Idol last time and for Coach not getting to play the game or some such hooey (zoned out on Coach talk). Says Ozzy is real deal and Coach is the pretender who still hasn’t learned to play the social game. That means we’ll probably be tortured with a long stay by Coach and be subjected to more of his wild tales of near death experiences with pygmies and sunset yoga scenes.
IMO, the real deal for a Redemption theme would be to bring back the first boots and let them have some game time. The quirks, crazies, loonies, and all. That, my FRiends, would be entertainment.
BTW, Survivors Ethan Zohn & Jenna Morasca are contestants on this season of The Amazing Race beginning Sept. 25.
Pre Jury boots:
Jim, John, Rick, Semhar, Sophie and Stacey
The Jury:
Anthony, Brandon, Christine, Coach, Dawn, Edna, Mikayla, Ozzy and Stacey
The Final Three:
Albert, Keith and Whitney
Of these three, I think its time for a woman to win, so my pick is Whitney.
Tonight, Wednesday, September 14, 2011, 8/7c on CBS - 90 minute premier
Savaii Tribe (red buffs): Dawn, Elyse, Jim, John, Keith, Mark, Ozzy, Semhar, Whitney
Upolu Tribe (blue buffs): Albert, Brandon, Christine, Coach, Edna, Mikayla, Rick, Sophie, Stacey

Thank you
Please add me to your Survivor Samoa ping list. The people look really interesting so far in tonight’s introduction. I haven’t watched it for a few years.
Well that was a nice first episode.
Lots of emotion right out front for everyone.
Brandon is weirding out. What, he can’t trust himself looking at a woman? Afraid of working women or what?
And hiding the tattoos? That ain’t gonna’ end well.
I suspect the freaky stalker voyeur edit of Brandon was just that, editing. He makes one the comment about whatever her name is flaunting herself and Mark Burnett manipulates the storyline. But, yes, the hiding of the tatoos is tricky. From the previews, he’s going to fess up to Coach. Stupid thing to do. He should have just acted like it was just a funny coincidence that his last name was the same as Russell’s but claim he’s never met him.
Well, I figured Jeff was playing us in his interview about Semhar not deserving to be there but glad she’s gone. Ozzy didn’t look too happy about his eye candy leaving but he voted with the majority to boot her. Glad Cochran is staying but he needs to drop the I’m a fan! line.
Speaking of editing, did they get new editors this season? I really enjoyed getting to know some of the contestants tonight. Sure, it was a longer show but it was much more enjoyable than it’s been in a while. It reminded me more of Season 1. Let’s hope the editing keeps up the good work.
Voted out last night: Semhar
Immunity challenge winner: Upolu
Savaii Tribe (red buffs): Cochran (FKA John), Dawn, Elyse, Jim, Keith, Mark, Ozzy, Whitney
Upolu Tribe (blue buffs): Albert, Brandon, Christine, Coach, Edna, Mikayla, Rick, Sophie, Stacey
Redemption Island: Semhar
Immunity Idol status - Savaii: Nobody has found the clue or the idol.

Anyone know why they arrived in totally unappropriate attire and without swim suits? After the very first season the production stole their backpacks, one would think they’d know to dress 24/7 in swimwear and survivor attire. Also, on the to do list is learn to make fire (hello, 22 seasons should have been a clue), and keep a full belly and well hydrated while on the ship.
I’ve been told/read that the contestants are never quite sure when “it begins”.
They are doing pro stuff and then told they are going on a photo shoot or something similar when they are told “get on the boat”.
I think this shows the difference between the show girl types and the cowboy. He was told to dress up and he wore his best hat - ............
But still the guys? Nice light weight set of nylon shorts vs cotton underwear?
Best first episode in a long long time. Could really have done without the return of Coach or Ozzy; too much baggage comes with these old hands returning to the show, and those are spaces that really should have been left to new contestants. Now if they’re there to replace those who were dropped during the leadup process (went to survival classes, said no way to the bugs, etc.), that’s great, and honestly they should be introduced that way.
But really, save these for the ‘all stars’ if you really want them back. Or at best, just have them pop in for the first week to help orient if that’s what the production goals are.
