CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Residents in a Cedar Rapids home woke up to a SWAT team. Police in SWAT gear entered the home on 5th AVE SE, to search the home for narcotics.
Police said that there were no drugs inside the house but there was evidence of drug use. 23-year-old Jose Perry was cited for a disorderly house. Perry signed a promise to appear in court and was not taken to jail.

Don’t kid yourself.
There’s big time meth manufacturing and distribution in Iowa, precisely due to that perception.
“Every town that has a population over 1000 has to have a swat team.
And even some that isn’t. “
Some really small towns just have the Swat Guy!
Yes! Ayn Rand had it right. She foresaw what was coming and many have labeled her a kook over the years. Perhaps she was a bit extreme but preventing a government from usurping the rights of citizens requires patriots to be a bit strident.
To all who asked, a “disorderly house” is defined as:
“Disorderly house is described as a building or room where someone resorted to for illegal activity involving drugs, alcohol, gambling or prostitution, according to a city ordinance.”

Yep. Happened to my buddy when he lived there. Had nothing, they charged him with a ‘disorderly house’. Total BS.
Bet this was Marion and not Cedar Crapids proper. Marion is a ‘burb and has one of the most corrupt cop shops in the nation. I will not even drive thru there.
CR is Iowa’s dirty cesspool town. Everyone not living there hates it and mocks it.
