Never watched more than a few episodes. Always seemed amc was trying to glorify the lives of drug dealers. I dunno... making a meth labber the hero just didn’t seem appropriate. What next? A program about a NAMBLA lobbyist?

Hopefully, the series will end with Walter White getting arrested and going to jail.

Not seemed, they are. It's repulsive as hell.

I don't see it as glorified, not past the first season. Walter is turning into a vicious, greedy, unlikeable creature that has no respect for any rights of others including the right to live. I expect he will get killed off in the last episode to the cheers of viewers.
Jesse is portrayed as a intelligent kid who might have made something of himself, but has ruined his own life as well as that of many others due to his inability to break his addiction to meth, and the drug dealer lifestyle, which he cannot break from but doesn't even enjoy. (so far - there might be other evolutions).
What did you think of the Sopranos?

I have a feeling it won’t end well for Walt, it can’t possibly end well or it will indeed glorify meth makers

Watched a few episodes.
Good points: Showed the complexity of the main characters. Demonstrated the extreme BAD KARMA you deserve when you are selling meth death. Accurately showed the extreme lowlife users and evil, psycho dealers. Purposely (I think) skewed the chemistry so that the wannabees in the audience will kill themselves if they try to duplicate the on-screen fantasy.
Bad point: Hollyweird again trying to glorify a death dealing meth cooker.

Always seemed amc was trying to glorify the lives of drug dealers. You must be watching a different show. The one I'm watching is about a man who, believing that he's dying, sets out to make some fast money for his family and ends up descending into hell, leaving hundreds of victims in his wake and destroying the family that he started out trying to help.

He’s not the hero, he’s the main character. It’s an important line. Same one all the good mob movies make.
