“A: I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. “
That may well be her position now (who knows), but considering that we’re talking October, 2008, she didn’t have much of a choice then, considering who was at the top of the ticket.
Perhaps, but I doubt it. We can deport every last one of them - including rounding them up if we have the will. Eisenhower got rid of several million illegals in operation Wetback. The “we can’t do it” excuse is a lie, and the “it’s inhumane” lie is just an attempt to bully people into accepting illegal entry as fait accompli.
If she is for “a path to citizenship”, she needs to find a path back to Alaska.
Considering that people drag out Perry’s statements from 10-20 years ago, this was fair.
People should have the same standards for all candidates.
But bashing Perry for less, while giving Palin a pass is not playing fair.
Perry NEVER said he was in favor of giving illegals a path to citizenship.
Palin had no problem publicly disagreeing with McCain. She certainly did so on multiple occasions regarding drilling in ANWAR. If she differed with him we would no it. She's not exactly timid.
OOooooohhhh. So it’s okay to say one thing and believe another for an election, is it? Why, she’s no better than Perry! Except that he got rid of sanctuary cities, put up cameras on the border, demanded from Obama directly that our southern border be SECURED.......
Oh, she was just a parrot then and a Pariah now? And, Perry is an open borders sell out. Sure...Whatever you Palin Bots say.
Hate to break it to you Bob, but not only has she not explained that Univision interview, but she said more of the same on O'Relly in 2010:
Sounds like amnesty to me.
Agree. Palin’s answers from August 2008 - November 2008 should be seen as McCain’s policies that it was her job to repeat. It wasn’t her job to distinguish her policies from McCain’s, but to adopt McCain’s policies.
