Current Texas Governor Rick Perry will, in all likelihood, be president of the United States in January of 2013.
Having already made that bold statement in the electronic media during appearances on Fox News and on the nationally syndicated Mancow Radio Experience, now it's time for to put down in "print" why I believe Perry will be our next president.
I did the same thing in December 2006. I was the first political commentator to predict that Barack Obama would be the next president, and I said that would be especially true if John McCain were his opponent.
The story of how my prediction turned into our nation's current nightmare is documented in my new best selling book, "No He Can't: How Barack Obama is Dismantling Hope and Change."
So far, the 2012 GOP presidential field has felt odd and disjointed to me, especially since former Arkansas and Alaska Governors Huckabee and Palin were long in making their up their minds about whether to get into the presidential race.

This thing has been making the rounds of conservative sites. It was written by a school friend of Hillary Clinton. That will ensure that I totally ignore the piece. I lived in TX, and have voted for Perry three times and will do so again. He is a good Governor and will be a good President. Liberals seem to be posting this over and over. Guess they realize that Perry will beat Obama.
He has problems with Borders and Islam !
The two go hand in hand. Muslim terrorists are cozying up with the Drug Cartels, as you know.
Time to draft Palin. Otherwise, we’re done.
I have one reason, he can beat Obama. Perry can win over the independents, Palin can’t - it’s that simple.
If perry is so damn terrible, how did our fellow texans elect him so many times? The guy is not perfect, but the attacks are over the top. This is the guy the establishment folks we all despise were trying to oust while the tea party and conservatives came out to support. I hate FR silly season.
Perry can win over the independents, Palin cant - its that simple.
Exactly right.
Chris Christie thinks I'm a kook because I question his recent "politically correct" decision to appoint a Muslim judge. I wouldn't vote for him for president if he were running. (He's doing okay as governor, however.)
Rick Good Hair Perry is the Shadow Citizenry's selection since it isn't quite working out for them with Mitt. He worked as Al Gore's Texas campaign manager. I don't care how long ago it was; he's not "Reagan" enough for me to forgive his former allegiance to a crazed liberal.
Obviously not the same stuff you are. Please explain what you feel are his negatives.
Yep, Rick Perry...GO PERRY GO!!!
Perry can win over the independents,
Really? He’s having a hard time winning over conservatives!
If it’s Perry vs obama, that won’t be much of an issue.
I support Perry and have never supported Romney. I have no doubt though that you'll have to deal with the "Shadow Citizenry's" GOP nominee Rick Perry and decide for yourself if you want to vote for him or Obama.
Texans elected Perry because he is a Republican. Dems have no chance in this state, at least not at the moment.
I don’t care for Perry. He is your run of the mill politician, saying whatever is necessary to get elected. He had the chance to make real reforms during the special session, and punted.
If Palin runs, she’ll get my vote. Bachmann is too clueless to get the nomination, Romney is establishment, so he’ll never get my vote.
If Palin isn’t the nominee, chances are good I’ll vote 3rd party. I will only vote for a Conservative, which limits my options.
You skipped the primary - and that is an issue.
Candidates from small states like mine really don't have any hope..
