Current Texas Governor Rick Perry will, in all likelihood, be president of the United States in January of 2013.
Having already made that bold statement in the electronic media during appearances on Fox News and on the nationally syndicated Mancow Radio Experience, now it's time for to put down in "print" why I believe Perry will be our next president.
I did the same thing in December 2006. I was the first political commentator to predict that Barack Obama would be the next president, and I said that would be especially true if John McCain were his opponent.
The story of how my prediction turned into our nation's current nightmare is documented in my new best selling book, "No He Can't: How Barack Obama is Dismantling Hope and Change."
So far, the 2012 GOP presidential field has felt odd and disjointed to me, especially since former Arkansas and Alaska Governors Huckabee and Palin were long in making their up their minds about whether to get into the presidential race.

10+ years - 5 disagreements. Not bad, considering you dislike him so much.
The Legislature promised us no more TTC in 2009, but they’re addicted to the money. In the meantime, I take the toll road around Austin to avoid that grid lock down town.)
Gardasil the science is there, the Legislature had given him the power http://wingright.org/2011/08/07/dose-of-reason-perry-and-gardasil/
The “Muslim agreements” - The only one I’ve found involved accepting money to develop a program to teach history teachers in 2005 and 2006.
Dream Act - not the Fed’s DREAM ACT - http://wingright.org/2011/08/08/why-i-support-the-texas-dream-act/
Not his relatives - relatives of those who work for him have been lobbyists. Again, there *is* that 10+ years.
BTW - Al Gore also used to be extremely pro-life. Creeps like him we don't need!
Looks pretty good to me...
Well that’s great - make sure you keep him!
And then onto the rest of the story.......
OK.. Perry is much better than Obama... then...
He is way better than the Big O have to admit. I think people are sick of professional politicians. I am in Texas and feel many won’t support his election.
Why can’t we just sit back and see what happens, may the best candidate win, we will learn everything we need to know in due course.
All those things I posted in #94 are great, aren’t they?
I’m willing to risk losing him to the Nation as President and getting Greg Abbott for Governor.

None of the other Republican candidates have the Global Elites behind them 100% behind them. We can expect praise of Perry from the msm, while they work to diminish the other candidates.
Many people do not look closely at the candidates, but just pick up bits and pieces from the msm. People who aren’t paying close attention might favor Perry.
People who do pay attention will reject Perry quickly.
Perry does well with old southern women, Republicans. Really strong there.
Perry does not do well with independents.
Palin (at this point) is not doing well with independents, but I think she could turn that around just by campaigning.
Perry won’t likely be able to improve his numbers vs Obama.
Most of the Republican candidates are bunched up together v Obama.
Romney and Paul perform better against Obama. Those 2 have the “electability” edge at this point.
Perry, especially, has the problem of being a Texas Governor that’s similar to Bush. That Cowboy thing really doesn’t work very well in the Northeast, Upper Midwest or West Coast. Perry does do well in the South. We’d win the South anyway. Perry does not do so well in places like Ohio, Indiana, Iowa. Ron Paul does well there, and in WI, MI, MN, PA.
I do believe in praise where praise is due. Too often, our leaders only hear from people that are unhappy about something.

FOX NEWS Poll released on Wednesday, August 10, 2011
FOX News Poll: (August 7-9, 2011)
Question 25. Sarah Palin - Do you think this person would make a good president or not?
.................YES.........NO.......DK.....Never heard of
ALL...........19%.......75%.........4%.......1%
Dem ............7%........89%.........3%.......1%
Rep ...........34%.......58%.......7%.......1%
Ind ...........20%........74%.......5%.......1%
As much as I was I was against many of the things Bush did, he was a G. Washington compared to Obama.
Americans just want someone they can vote for.
Even McCain would have had won had he run a real campaign.
I really don’t see many other options.
