But the real star of the show was George’s Mother.

The only — only — time I ever saw Lopez was when I watched about 5 minutes of his stand up routine on HBO a couple years ago. The segment was a typical, tired “whites do it this way and Mexicans do it the other way” routine, followed by a routine where we were supposed to think it was funny that whites are afraid of Mexicans. I turned it off, stupified, after that and have never seen him since.

Lopez should team up with Bill Maher, Rosie O'Donnell and Megan McCain..............they could do a comedy tour...........it would be a riot........

I find it funny that he talks about la raza but says he would move to Canada. I can never understand how so much of the American public is blind to this kind of unbelievable hypocrisy.

I have to admit, after living in southern California and Arizona, I found his “Welcome to Jack in the Box” routine hysterical and spot on. I thought he was pretty funny until he got political and anti-American.

Opening your mouth has consequences. Now the network should weenie many viewers left after Georgy opened his mouth.

The show catered to DU fans. A very small segment of the population. Nobody else could stomach it.

Hes the most awkwardly unfunny comedic presence since Chevy Chase hosted a show. Agree 100%. I caught a few minutes of this show, just a few weeks ago. My first thought was "Boy, the producers really need to turn up the canned laughter".

I haven’t watched late night TV since Carson. One you left out was Steve Allen. His was a comedy show more than anything, and was memorable in its own right.
