Scolded by Another Federal Judge, ‘Birther’ Lawyer Orly Taitz Blames Court Clerk for Bad Filing

Posted Jul 26, 2011 5:24 PM CDT By Martha Neil

A California lawyer known for failed "birther" litigation against President Barack Obama that resulted in a $20,000 sanction from a U.S. District Court judge in Georgia has now irritated another member of the federal bench in the nation's capital, according to the Orange County Register.

Attorney Orly Taitz "is either toying with the court or displaying her own stupidity,” wrote U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth yesterday in a memorandum and order (PDF) striking Taitz's filing because of

I believe she has the best of intentions and hopes to save our Country that she loves. You sure won’t find love of Country in the Dem party who have proven themselves as closet communists. It bothers me that all want to rip her for trying to find and prove what’s “right is right”. She has expressed no desire to live in a communist country again.
Who else is fighting the fight and I don’t mean lip service?

Orly is tireless!!

We should be thanking her because no other lawyer has the guts to expose Obama.

Go Orly!! Go!!!

I hope she succeeds, sometime, somewhere, in finding a judge with integrity and courage. Or there is a slip-up, some judge doesn’t get the memo about not taking the cases. I root for her, rather than ridiculing her. How about some of the “smarter” lawyer and legal types who take shots at her trying to get cases heard themselves? Afraid? (I would be).

Honestly, I’m surprised she’s still alive.

Me too. It’s amazing that she remembers to breathe.

Yes. Thank you Orly.

When times get tough, the last person you want in your bunker is an know-it-all lawyer. Unless that lawyer is a dentist.

Reminds me of an old joke,

What do cops and firefighters have in common. They both wanted to be firefighters.

Where are the heavy legal hitters? They are hiding from doing the right thing because they see that the political power is aligned in favor of not permitting a challenge to the system.

Yup, the entire political class is playing CYA. It would have been too much political heat to accuse Obama of usurpation back in the election and now it's way too embarrassing to admit that they were wrong in not challenging his eligibility. That's the kind of evil genius that controls the Democrat party.

Using ridiculous arguments doesn't make conservatives look good. Manure is plant food, but if I dumped a truckload onto your lawn, you might consider it a pollutant.

Besides, your statement about the SCOTUS ruling CO2 is false. The SCOTUS ordered the EPA to investigate whether it should classify carbon dioxide as a pollutant under §7251(a)(1) of the Clean Air Act...that is, follow law passed by Congress.

I’ve had one court case sabotaged by a stupid clerk, who screamed at me to go away in front of other litigants when I pointed out her obvious error. Later, when her error was discovered and brought to the attention of a senior clerk, she became very very meek, but never apologized.

This ‘birther’ thing is a disgrace.

It comes not from the idea that Obama’s policies are wrong and we can defeat his and the left’s ideas—something the Tea Party proved brilliantly this past election—but that we have to be like little children and have some deus ex machina that magically ends his presidency—which of course will led Joe Biden become president, and the right will suffer the wrath of the American people who don’t like their elections being undone.

They’ve got nothing but excuses—”It was the clerk’s fault!” “The Hawaiian state government is completely corrupt!” “The dog ate his birth certificate!”

The birthers have got nothing, and they’re the best thing Chrissy Matthews and Bill Maher ever got—they can use the simple word “Birthers” to paint the entire right as wackos.

You got nothing—you called Obama on his certificate, and when he delivered whatever the heck he delivered you then said “Oh, but that’s not what we meant, we meant THIS certificate!” and the nation laughed at you all for being a bunch of amateurs. Meanwhile, the real core of conservatism did the hard work and got Conservatives ELECTED.

Enough.

Her argument was “The SSA told me that this number had never been issued, did not belong to anyone so why would it need to be redacted?” Then, without saying they had made a mistake and it had been issued, they told her they could not release the application form for that SSN to protect the privacy of the person who is using it. So they want it both ways, it was never issued but you have to redact it to protect the privacy of the person using it.

Agree. Have you ever see Laura Ingrahm or Ann Coulter putting their law degree where their mouth is? Wouldn’t that be something. But there’s little money in it and the price is too high. You actually have to be O.K. with getting attacked and humiliated and you don’t get invited to the cocktail parties of the people you are trying to expose for treason and corruption.

I thought the SSN was issued many years ago and original
holder was deceased since the 70s. Or is that another
SSN ??

I have little respect for the integrity of lawyers and judges at any level. I say this with years of being involved with these people. In one particular case I was testifying when the opposing attorney badgered me to verify my comments. I presented original documents in my possession verifying my comments. The judge was all over himself while literally grabbing my documents, which he kept. I had made copies. In the judges final order he shamelessly said that my testimony was confusing and implying the cause was my old age.

"Isn’t Orly supposed to view the original BC in HI tomorrow with 2 experts?"

You kinda have to remember that she also claimed that she was going to take Obama's deposition in her office. The woman is delusional or, in the alternative, without waiving the foregoing, she is nuttier than squirrel poop.

There are ‘birthers’ and there are ‘anti-birthers’. In the present conditions of all what I’ve been seeing I will go with the birthers.

In one search the SSA shows that the number is “valid” and that it may have been issued between 1977-78? based on the numbers issued before and after the one B.O. is using. Another search indicates that it was originally issued to someone born in 1890? However, Orly has a letter from the SSA stating that the number she requested the application for, the number B.O. is using, had never been issued. So bottom line, the number is bogus and so is B.O. and the SSA is engaged in a cover-up. It is criminal.

Oh yeah. If there is one thing that Ann Coulter is afraid of, it's being attacked and humiliated. She really shrinks away from that.

Mmm-hmmm.
