I have been reading on dozens of threads how "toast" Obama is come 2012...how there is no way he will win re-election in 2012 now that we have been downgraded and the hell we are living through.

Well...have a look at the comments from some of the 23 million who are fans of this man...this is just from today:

Evajean Blum Blackstone Mr Obama, you have a lot on your plate, but you are a brilliant man and easily the smartest president we have ever had. I know you have something great up your sleeve and things are going to be ok. We support you 100% and we will never doubt you. We are proud to support Obama-Biden 2012!!! 13 minutes ago · 2 people

Tell us when will it end. Americans want to see some push back from the White House. Right now. 27 minutes ago

Marcie Richardson Anyone ever heard the old saying " you have to spend money to make money" ? Well, listen up Tea Party and supporters of the Tea Party- you don't create jobs by sitting on your laurel and hoarde your money- you use it!!! to put people to work to, create more revenue for our government to pay down the debt. Surely the majority of Americans are not so blind that they can't see this!!! 23 minutes ago · 1 person

Eddie Garcia This is a historical issue, republicans always make a mess of things and then the democrats have to come in and clean up the mess. Obama is a great leader and doing a very good job. I doubt another party could do better. The whole country must work together. about an hour ago · 3 people

But hey, It was a good run, better start learning chinese haha.. it just sucks you couldn't set differences aside and just give possibilities of how to fix the economy. Instead blabarring ur mouths. Don't worry Mr. President, we will see our Country through!

Darryl Davis Please stand up a show some backbone and sincere heart and address the corruption in congress, i.e Tea Party influence over the Republican party. Demand this type hostage games end now. The middle class is being destroyed along with the hard fought gains that Democrats and liberals won in the democracy so that everyone could share in this countries prosperity in gone. The debt was created under the republican controlled congress and white House. Maybe you have not noticed but, republicans are not willing to work with or compromise with you. Is it because your an African-American Yeah! It's time wake up Mr. President, you are not going win them over and your losing democratic support big time. A new stratgery and new way of dealing with opposition is at hand. Former President Bush was dead wrong on many things but, he was willing to stand up for his beliefs and party agenda in the face of criticism. Are you? Many of your supporter including needs to see a strong leader who has the courage to confront the opposition and will not the destruction of our society by a band criminals who refuses to function in the role they were elected but, rather hold the American people hostage as they demand the game be played their way or they will not play at all. Jesus Espinoza Mr. President, America is furious over our credit downgrade and not sure who is to blame. You must speak to the country a.s.a.p. and remind everyone that the recent debt celing fight was partially responsible for our downgrade. Then, propose ligislation to make the debt ceiling a straight up or down vote in order to avoid possible default because of partisan gridlock. If republicans refuse, u can remind america that republicans want to hold america hostage and force us to accept the tea party's extreme views. At this point, it will be crystal clear who is to blame for our credit down grade-REPUBLICANS!!!! about an hour ago · 2 people

BO supporters aren’t grounded in reality.

Until they wake up and think and love their country as much as they hate anything “conservative”, they’ll be a lost cause.

It only depends upon the Repubs to find a moderate or lame enough candidate. Certainly there is a McDole or a McLame who the Repubs could choose in order to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

I believe they pay folks to work social media? If liberals will fake votes and vote multiple times why should we believe that those numbers on facebook and other sites are not inflated and each user possibly having multiple screen names.

I can only pray that after today and 31 of our soldiers dying in Afganistan that things have been reset.

I hope I am wrong, but I have a bad feeling about 2012. I think the Republicans blew it with the debt ceiling agreement and the Democrats will contol all heads of government in 2013 again.

You are way too pessimistic. Hussein will be tough to beat, but the number of Facebook fans he has is pretty meaningless. Additionally, this endless railing at the House leadership is tiring. Winning only the House in 2010 meant we could block some of Obama's agenda and that's about it. We've stopped additional stimulus, state aid/union bailouts, etc, etc. The fact we tied ANY spending cuts to a debt ceiling increase is fairly remarkable considering it's never been done before.

These people are scared if the lose Obama, they will lose their benefits. They will be out in droves to re-elect him in 2012.

You make a good point here though. Once upon a time if people couldn't find work because the economy sucked they'd immediately want to vote out the incumbent. Now that they can live off some sort of benefits for years upon years, it's a good bet that the half of the country that is on the dole in some form or other will vote for the candidate that promises to protect their freebies - in this case Obama.

I suspect he will be reelected. He has large blocs of votes such as blacks, Mexicans, Asians, Jews, and homosexuals upon which to build. Next he has the MSM as his campaign tool. Three weeks of media treatment and he is greater than Lord Jesus. He has a 1 billion dolar slush fund. He has stretched forth wide his mighty arms and cried in a loud voice “come forth my children” and the graves are opening and the dead are rising with premarked ballots clutched in their cold dead hands. In short, he has the “Zombie” vote tied up. As we post here today ACORN and the SEIU are premarking ballots as we write. There is even the possibility of black thugs outside white polling places, destruction of ballots etc. He will probably win.

He’s done. No one ever gets reelected with this type of performance. No one.

FDR did. He had a record of pure economic failure yet still won over and over again.

The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to an electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.” — Author Unknown

By their names, I'll bet a lot of these people are not US citizens. It is our job to make sure that only lawfully registered citizens vote, that they only vote in their own name, that they only vote in the state in which they have permanent residence, and that they only vote once apiece.

Watch some Democrat try to play the race card on what I just said.

Cheers!

Actually, Yahoo lets you post comments on news articles and there seems to be as many Obama haters as there are lovers. You are right, the Internet is filled more with young liberals then conservatives, but the fact is that on a place like Yahoo News where there is that many people trashing Obama should say something. I have known a lot more conservative gentlemen and ladies who refuse to argue on the Internet then I have liberals who would do the same.

Make voter fraud a crime punishable by a minimum sentence of 25 to life.

I have been calling for a mandatory 5 years in prison for voter fraud for a looooong time. Guess my wife was right...I AM an old softie...25 years it is!

If Osama bin Laden were running in the democratic party, he’d pull many millions of votes from those democratic party voters. If Hitler were a member of the democratic party, he too would bring in millions of voters from the ranks of democrats. If Satan were a democratic party leader, he’d be worshiped as the only true God by democrats.

Sanity and wisdom and are not characteristics to be found in the ranks of the rabidly stupid democrats.

Different time. Different political dynamic. Plus, the problem is clearly rooted in this guy’s ideology, and the majority of voters know it. His numbers are in the tank. Unless there is real economic improvement. He is done. The electoral map looks terrible for Obama and the Democrats right now. Florida is gone. VA is gone. Pennsylvania is even at best. Unless he somehow locks down ALL the midwestern states that went overwhelmingly GOP in 2010, he has no path to win.

Some people at FR are afraid of their own shadow. No election has gone the Democrats way in a red or purple state since 2008. Polling is terrible for him and the Democrats. There is always a constituency for the far left, but it is not a majority. There are always leftist, government dependents and special interests to make a lot of noise publicly no matter how bad there side is. The Democrats and Obama have lost the suburban votes that put them in office...the ones that rejected the GOP in 2006 and 2008. Unless there is a massive economic improvement in the next 12 months, they simply cannot win.

I guarantee he’ll have a lot tougher race than he had last time just based on the number of new GOP secretaries of state. Plus the more states are now under GOP control.

Here in Michigan the left even failed to get a Rick Snyder recall on the November ballot. They needed to collect 800,000 ballots in 90 days and only managed to get 300,000.

Bammy won’t be getting a simple stroll to reelection.
