Let's try something productive here. I'd like to start this tread as a repository for serious questions that can presented to the various conservative pundits, candidates, grass-roots activists, etc. that frequent Free Republic (FR).
We know that FR is in the top 10 Conservative websites and that a significant amount of information posted here is seen by the above persons.
Lets make a list of questions using past articles, quotes, etc. from the Democrats that can/should be present at debates, interviews, town halls, speaking engagements, etc.
If we do this thoughtfully, fact-based, researched and meticulously, it will be a gold mine of a resource utilizing the entire FR body and all its skill sets.
If this goes well, maybe it will be posted as a quick, easily referenced thread for the visiting potential questioners and keep the Democrats on their heels.
My question is this:
In 2009, Obama made the following statement to Matt Lauer, "A year from now I think people are going to see that were starting to make some progress, said Obama. But theres still going to be some pain out there. If I dont have this done in three years, then theres going to be a one-term proposition.
Here we are in 2011 and unemployment is at 9.1%, when Obama made this statement unemployment was 8.1% and the US Credit Rating has been cut from AAA for the first time since 1917. The US debt at the time of this statement was $10.6T and the current US debt is $14.5T. By all measurable statistics, the current administration and its policies has worsened the living standards for the majority of Americans. My question is; It's been over 2 years since that statement. How do you, rationally, expect the American people to give you and your administration another term?
The rest of this threads success or failure is up to you my fellow FReepers.
What say you?
How long after you take the oath of office will it take you to secure our borders?
Since we could put (pick a number) 5 Million Americans back to work by getting Illegal Aliens off American payrolls, do you favor putting Americans back to work by removing the Illegals, or do you favor sending Unemployment and Welfare checks to Americans in order to provide employment to Illegal Aliens who should not be in this country?
If extending Unemployment payments help the economy, why doesn’t the government give every one a monthly income of $10,000 per year?
bttt
If you create a ping list for this, if it is not high volume, I’d like to be on it.
Back when George Bush Was President You were against debt limit increase and for a balance budget Amendment, why have you change your mind?
Leading physicists and meteorologists are now on record as calling Anthropogenic Global Warming “the biggest scientific fraud in history.” Do you believe in AGW? Should our entire economy be intimately regulated on the basis of a fraud?
China is practicing unrestrained cyber-spying and sabotage against our country. Should this not be regarded as an act of war? Should there be any change in our present trade policies, which have helped China become an industrial and military powerhouse?
Would you advocate continuation of lavish American foreign aid programs?
Do you advocate keeping American garrisons in Korea, Japan, Germany, and elsewhere overseas?
Maybe this thread should be reactivated.
I’d like to hear a question regarding the allowing of sharia law in some communities. Should it be outlawed?
Followup question. Should honor killings be prosecuted as murder?
