Yes, the Casey Anthony hearing to revisit her probation order is being televised today at 9:00 a.m. EST. In my area we will be getting it on HLN.
Let's see if she maintains her teflon status.

The transcript never lies.
Don't you think the judge is implying that the defense tried to pull a fast one by ignoring it and hustling Casey Anthony out of jurisdiction? As officers of the court, didn't they have an obligation to address this matter? Call me cynic, but I find it very had to believe they had never referred to the transcript.
I'm asking, I don't know. Lawyers?

We don't think Judge Perry will rule today. He is asking for additional input from the defense, but has indicated he has to do additional reading. So far no one has found a case on point.
What a surprise, this is one of the stupidest things I've ever seen. But then, I don't do criminal law. Still, seems like a huge blunder.

Thanks. I don’t see why it wasn’t caught before. How many times has the DOC given probation while the person is in jail awaiting trial?

You bet they did. They do as officers of the court have a real obligation to address the matter. I am sure they read the transcript with a fine tooth comb.

The last I heard was the word termination being discussed by this newby like lawyer; but that’s all I heard trying to get the pups out.

Look at the defense team sucking up to the judge.

The reporter just said the Judge is making better points than the state! I agree, this Frank George guy didn't seem into it at all.
I'm glad Judge Perry was a prosecutor. Can we get one teensy bit of justice, pleeeze?
Can you keep posting? I'm GOT to finish this brief or I'll miss the service pick up in a couple of hours. I'll check back in when I can.
Thank you, and cross your fingers!

They are saying on another channel that the Judge is not convinced that she actually served what is considered probation while in jail.

I think it is clear, myself. The other judge sentenced her to one year probation to be served after she is released. He made that clear in the check fraud appearance.

in a normal court; I would imagine that blunder would have been caught and dealt with.

They are saying on another channel that the Judge is not convinced that she actually served what is considered probation while in jail. It sounds so totally impossible to serve probation while you're in jail. I thought probation is there to monitor your behavior once you're OUT OF JAIL.

I try to be very careful with my cases and jump on all documents when I get them. I know I drive my attorney nuts asking him questions trying to verify his interpretation of orders, his notes, etc. I know he gets annoyed, but better that than a malpractice suit. He should be thrilled to have you doing that. It's in his best interest.
