We don't think Judge Perry will rule today. He is asking for additional input from the defense, but has indicated he has to do additional reading. So far no one has found a case on point.
What a surprise, this is one of the stupidest things I've ever seen. But then, I don't do criminal law. Still, seems like a huge blunder.

Thanks. I don’t see why it wasn’t caught before. How many times has the DOC given probation while the person is in jail awaiting trial?
