GALVESTON A jogger on Galveston Island discovered a bag in the surf Tuesday containing 25 bricks of cocaine with an estimated street value of $2 million.
The jogger, whose name police are withholding, discovered the bag about 9:30 a.m. near Indian Beach, police spokesman Cpt. Jeff Heyse said.
He lugged the heavy bag to his residence and slashed it open to find 25 bricks of cocaine, each weighing 1 kilogram or 2.2 pounds, bundled in plastic wrap and rubber, Heyse said.
Recognizing the packages as cocaine from television programs, the jogger phoned police, Heyse said.

Yea square grouper was everywhere years back, bait for public to unload somewhere else, same with kilos of cocaine, one guy found a kilo, and saw it had become wet, sipped the liquid and died many years ago... Odds are it was misthrown one boat to another, but he should be paranoid, could have some of ohbammas booted thugs looking for their lost kilo..

I hope he got a free hat or a t-shirt or something. Or bullet proof vest just in case the owners come looking for their 30 bricks of cocaine.

I heard a financial expert just today suggest we should all invest in precious metals. 3 to be exact.
Gold. Silver.
And Lead.

Pharmaceuticals and liquor would hurt either.
And coffee, since we’re talking about it.

It happened to me 20 years ago in FL, only it was a bail of weed. (and very soggy) Another couple found 2 more and had called beach patrol.Seaweed I remember those days. Florida was crazy in the 70's/80's.
