On this day of a 265 point drop on top of a net 850+ drop over the past 8 days (12,724 to 11,866) the next question overlying the US Economy is where will be the July 2011 Employment figures (June 2011 = 9.2%). A constant comment from the private sector appears to be the burden of government regulation. In the coming months and years, the business community is facing an enormous slew of known and probable regulations as created by an activist government ideology, ranging from Dodd-Frank Financial Reform & Obama Health Care to EPA Carbon Reduction & Dept. of the Interior Gulf of Mexico Oil regulation.
Thus a reasonable question appears to be this; would a suspension of NEW Federal Regulations for a significant period of time (years) help improve the US Employment situation. This would allow the various government agencies to publish and allow the business and public to comment and object to such new regulations in a less stressful environment.
What say you, my fellow FReepers?
The road to redemption for those who voted for Boehners crap sammich begins here.
Add local regulatory burden to that, and I’ll be with ya. Otherwise, let’s just head on to the much larger collapse with the increasing enormous federal funding for local fascist cronies.
I’ll gladly take the latter, if there are local suckers of big federal revenues here. Both political parties are full of socialist garbage.
