The good news is that as Emily heads over Santo Domingo, it will weaken significantly due to the mountain ranges.

Finally! All this GLOBAL WARMING and no hurricanes.
I’ll never forget the billboard somebody bought near downtown Orlando in 2005 basically telling us that it was George Bush’s fault that Florida was being overrun by hurricanes and we were going to get it even worse because he was the cause of GLOBAL WARMING!
Of course, ever since then it’s been pretty darn quiet.

Looks like the model maps have shifted more westward with a later northern turn since I last looked 2 or 3 days ago.
Will start keeping a more watchful eye on it.

Don’t forget to fill up your gas tank, get cash, and pick up a nice supply of hurricane chocolate.

Looks like I will have my boat pulled Thursday morning. Francis and Jean, made a believer in me. Then hanging the hurricane shutters and clearing off the pool deck.

Here’s my favorite tracking site.
http://www.stormpulse.com/
Even gives local weather and radar better than my local news station’s sites.
