Patriots traded for chad Ochocinco.
Tom Brady proclaimed himself healthy after offseason foot surgery.
Rumor has it that following his foot surgery recovery, Brady will be timed in the 40 yard dash with an actual stopwatch instead of the usual calendar.

Should be interesting to see how many people pick Ochocinco for their fantasy league teams.

9ers were hoping for a shot at OuchIstinko..
and as usual Frank Gore is holding out for an extension
Brady ain’t pretty when he runs but .. as long as he don’t break, the Pats look good.
you wouldn’t consider trading him for McNabb, huh?
Oh the travails of the Vikings continue.. :-)

The Pawtucket Patriots are becoming the new Oakland Raiders, picking up dubious players.

It ought to be interesting, as the Pats have a nose for this sort of thing. (Randy Moss) However, Ochocinco is NOT Randy Moss. I don't see him putting up Randy Moss like numbers. Then again, I finished in last place in my league last year, so what do I know ? I thought Donovan McNabb and Mike Shanahan were a match made in heaven. How was I supposed know that Mcnabb would embarrass himself the way Obama did when he threw out the first pitch wearing mom jeans ?

Whenever there’s talk of using draft picks I picture Bill “making it rain” like Pacman in a strip joint they have so many of them.
As for the trade... I’m much keener on this than I am of the Haynesworth deal. I’m going to defer to history here given what they were able to do with Dillon and Moss. However that last year with Moss was a total mess but then we all saw what happened in that case. Boom! Gone in the blink of an eye. I suspect Albert will be on a pretty short leash.
With regards to Ochocinco - even though he can’t stretch the field as he once could, I suspect it’ll be enough to clear out the flats and let Welker, Edelman, Woodhead and the new stud TE’s wreak havoc underneath.
The one high-profile shoe left to drop is the Jets pursuit of Asomugha. Can’t imagine both he and Revis in the same secondary. That’d be a challenge and a half.

That explains why the Pats traded for Haynesworth; he makes Brady look fast.

Didn’t he drop the “Ochocinco” and is back to Chad Johnson?

I will enjoy watching Darelle Revis shut Chad down twice a year instead of maybe once.

So can Chad get his number, or does he have to change his name again? Yawn...what an ego that takes.
