Why doesn't McCain just give up the smoke and mirrors and become a liberal? This idiot has done as much as any radical to destroy this country. Has anyone ever asked him to seriously listen to his own drivel? This milktoast rino is symbolic of the republican party today. I remember conservatives being slammed for not wanting him to be the nominee in 2010. I wonder what the differences in our national condition and debate would be at this point had he defeated the community organizer.
I try to look at the bigger picture and likely results not assumed intentions.
Look at the current Republican party near meltdown and near civil war over this Debt limit issue, look at how many here want Republicans to join Pelosi, Obama and Reid in killing this bill, all while Democrats/liberals are being held together as a fighting team in quiet disagreement of Obama, in glee over Republicans in-fighting and assumed/wished self destruction, just by getting control of House, when they were united for two years.
Now imagine how bad that civil war would be if RINO McCain was president being blamed for the bad economy and deficit, and working with Dems directly on REAL legislative sellouts instead of this imaginary one.
I am of the view that he helped elect Obama. I think practically any other Republican -- perhaps, with the exception of Ron Paul -- could've beaten The Messiah.
Ann Coulter in "Demonic" says that McCain and his ilk want to be liked very very much by the lib/commies and the only way to be really liked by them is to viciously attack their fellow Republicans and Conservatives. Ann Coulter describes this as the slutty girl's path to popularity.

I hear you sickolibs, but McCain is not the president. It’s like imagining Hitler’s Germany won WWII. They didn’t. All the rest is nothing but comnjecture. Meanwhile, we have an actual enemy of our country occupying the WH and actively pursuing policies thst will make the US just another third world Marxist country.

You mean the ‘enemy in the WH’ that our hoped saviors in the House and many of our good friends here as well as tons of others are directly assisting this current battle? Those thinking that some how fate has brought them and our worse ‘enemies’ both to work together on the same strategic OBJECTIVE to achieve COMPLETELY OPPOSITE GOALS??
