(Obama's poll numbers are so low the Kenyans are claiming he was born in the USA!)

Well, that just isn’t fair.
Social Justice demands that he be taxed 14 fingers and/or toes, and they be redistributed to those who who have fewer than the usual 20.
No Justice; no peace.

I see a Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto in this kid’s future

>>The child, who his family refused to name, also had surgery to remove his extra digits. He now has ten fingers and ten toes following a six-and-a-half hour operation at a hospital in Shenyang, Liaoning last March.<<
Thank God they were able to correct this and give this kid a normal life.

I think he has set a record by being born at 1 year of age!

I knew a guy who had six fingers on each hand and and six toes on each foot (an extra pinky and little toe).
We called him “Six Fingers”.

Living life with no name isn’t exactly normal, lol.

I have mixed feelings about the amputations being done before he could express an opinion. The extra digits on his hands would be a source of both childhood ridicule and awe, and probably get in the way of normal activities. Certainly the extra toes would complicate walking and wearing shoes. Nevertheless, it would have been interesting to see how the young boy would have considered his situation had they left him as-is until he decided he wanted them taken off, himself. Perhaps he will some day wish he still had the extra fingers, since that made him so "special"... now he is just ordinary.
Except that I assume he keeps his Guinness Record... that grants pretty good bragging rights, regardless.
At least they took pictures. He won't remember much from being only one, but the pictures will be cool.

If left uncorrected, sufferers of this condition might develop some wicked guitar chords.

Modern “journalism” whose supposed tool is language has fallen to the point where “intent” is more important than “content.”
I usually pick up on such inanities, but it is late and I am not at my bestest...

(Palin / West in 2012 or West / Palin. Either combination will serve America well.)
