Those North Korean troops look like their starving.Whereas the Americans and the South Koreans look huge in size.

Comparing a 20 something NK soldier - and perhaps their “best specimens” to show off the gate - to our old military brass is a bit unreasonable.

One photo I’ve seen from awhile back may be a better comparison with an American soldier standing a head taller than a South Korean, and the North Korean looks like a little kid compared to the American.

And I think it is also a mistake to look at the North Koreans and see “sadness”. They are probably grim faced because they are doing their jobs. Gathering information, etc. They no doubt view us as their enemy - while we laugh and make light of their presence.
