Thanks for the info!
I was hoping maybe it would play at The Grove(For those who live in LA who know where the Grove is) huge theater, it was packed today with Harry Potter fans.. I think the movie would do good over there, but since its Los Angeles and super looney liberal who knows..but I know I would go see it for sure! If it comes out on DVD I will get a copy for sure
Just to get reality in here, this is the PER SCREEN average, not totals. Since it is playing on relatively few theaters the totals wont be that great, or not up to a middling Hollywood release.
Now, its likely to make money, even a great deal of it by documentary standards, but even so.
A wider release may or may not get more total seats. The catch is, is the appeal narrow, which will fill the seats for the relatively few fans who would be willing to pay for it, or is there an underserved mass who are not seeing it because its not available ?

I remember the articles where George Soros said that if Obama can't get the job done, that they'll just have to find someone else. That had to be a seismic event in Democrat land.
No doubt, Obama and his cronies heard that message loud and clear, hence his doubling down on his Marxist agenda after the 2010 wipe out.
We Know that buwaya...but the fact remains it’s being seen and quite well.
And as posted this will mean national release if the numbers stay this elevated.
It’s that lack of loyalty and willingness to eat their own that is the left’s greatest weakness. Eventually there’s no one left to turn on.
That double-down hurts like hell now but hopefully, if we survive it, the lessons learned by former Obots will lead to at least 16 years of Marxist-free governance (relatively speaking of course).
Even in a limited release, the fact that theaters have it 2nd only to Potter is amazing. Sure, that may be mostly SP fans, but that’s still a hell of an accomplishment. Most of those people probably haven’t been to another movie in years.
A documentary beat out Transformers on multiple screens. Impressive regardless.
Yes you are so correct. It’s tingle up the leg kinda day....lol
That is the case for me. If the movie would have been within an hour or two from my home,I would have gone today. I am still hoping for a wider release, but will definitely be getting the DVD when available
Just got back from the CO showing. It appered on Tuesday that there would onlt be one showing at 7:15 so it was sold out. Come Friday and they are showing it multiple times so the show that started at 4:30 was nearly empty. This is almost like a word of mouth release, kind of wierd.
Just to get reality in here, we already knew that.
Harry Potter was being shown on 6 screens in the CO theater. HP has a cult following. A word of mouth movie like Undefeated is not competition in terms of mass gathering in a venue like this.
As for the movie itself, the Alaska politics stuff was a little tedious, but when she mentioned the moment in August 2008 when “one of her Blackberries” went off and it was John McCain asking if she wanted to change history; I was at full attention and the movie took off.
Her introduction speech in St. Louis (I think) was one of those moments I’ll be able to recall the minutest details of where I was, the TV set up, who I called over etc.
Not to mention that the Harry Potter series took ten years to gain followers and fans.
Sarah Palin’s only been in the national spotlight since ‘08.
(I wanted to go to that showing, but my ex wanted to spend time with our Sons. I’m going on my next days off.)
Had to drive about 30 miles to see it tonight. Excellent movie.
Theater full except the first two rows which were sparsely populated (you have to crane your neck to see the screen from there). Tea Party people were sitting in the back and applauding at every mention of the Tea Party. Most of the audience applauded the movie at the end.
Comments in the movie by Breitbart and Levin were great.
