Well, you can save your money and forget about buying that Prius. Because apparently cats, not cars, cause climate change. Thats the latest according to some research studies.
The problem is reportedly due to a cat epidemic in the U.S., where the entire feline population has tripled in the last four decades to some 600 million furry critters. The studies report that global warming prompts cats to breed like, well, rabbits, and once theres an overpopulation, our furry feline friends start killing off eco-saving birds en masse.
Sounds like a lose, lose. Right?

My cat causes litterbox odor disorder, but no climate change...
Kitteh globalwarming ping!
Oh my....the evil Kitteh?
I’ve a .22 long rifle which has, and can help more, to cut those numbers down.
The cats’ plan for worldwide domination kicks up another notch...
You’re not a cat lover?...Tsk, tsk...
I have a Maine Coon named Hannah Leigh. I’ll let her read the article and see what she thinks.
My Viking Kitties are doing their part!!
Now I feel bad for blaming it on the dog.
Fine, but don't let her hypnotize you...then it'll be too late..
I wasn’t aware there was a kitteh revolution afoot..but it certainly makes since to me.
My kitty can’t reproduce...so I am fairly sure she is doing her best to kill me by getting tangled up in my feet. I have been assured it’s a “cat thing”...I just didn’t know why. :) Increase in the cat population...decrease in the human population.
Viking kittehs cause globalwarming Ping!

Until we get to the tipping point. Good think cats can’t operate a can opener, else their scheme would have been accelerated...
No, cats do not “contribute to global warming.”
The scare is that more cats, due to a lengthened breeding season (if you “hide the decline,” that is) means less birds which means more insects which means (in principle) fewer green plants?
But here’s the facts, Jack: Green plants love warmth and CO2, it is yummies for them. This will feed more bugs, which will feed more birds, which will feed more cats! Everyone wins with global warming.
By the way, I have a long-time friend who, no matter how tough you think you are, is tougher -- an ex Con (who has redeemed himself) who Did Time, a guy who has pulled a gun on bad-boy bikers gangs and WON, a guy who has braved some of the toughest seas you could know in a little tiny boat (think "The Perfect Storm"), a guy who went eyeball-to-eyeball with the crew of a Soviet mega-trawler in the high seas and eye-witnesses I know, who would never have put themselves in such a dangerous predicament, saw him come away with a smile on his face and some excellent vodka in exchange for American "luxuries" like razors and bourbon --
-- if this guy saw you aiming a .22 at his beloved cat (like many fisherman, he always had a cat on the boat with him) or any other housecat ... well, I hate to think what would happen to you. Suffice it to say you'd be lucky if you were physically able to shoot at cats after that. Some of THE most manly, gnarly, tough dudes I know, dudes who would scare the crap out of you with one level look -- and I know a few -- have real soft spots for cats and real hard-ons for jerks like you.
:^)
Yep, when they master the can opener...it will be game over.
LOL
She won’t hypnotize me, she’s to worn out being ticked at the nut in the WH. RepubliCAT all the way.
