Saw the headline and immediately knew we’re talking San Fran here.

Could easily happen in NYC too. I'm always ready to push cyclists who ignore traffic laws into oncoming traffic. (And at one time I was one of those guys riding a bike around Manhattan - but never disobeying traffic laws.)
