Implicit in the contemporary American health care system is a threat: Conform and spend your life behaving yourself in limited jobs or we will deny you insurance and put your health and your familys future at risk.
Restrictions on health care availability are an effective form of social control. We often talk about this in terms of womens health care. But too often lost in the health care debate is the broader truth: health care is used as a weapon of control. In a certain sense, we can be healthy or we can be truly free. So much for Patrick Henry.
Just one of the bizarre ironies of the current debate is the libertarian view that universal health care threatens our freedom. If libertarian-minded Americans would open their eyes, theyd see that just the opposite is true. How many Americans remain in dead-end jobs for the health benefits, however meager they might be? How many entrepreneurs never launch their independent initiatives because they cant risk the loss of health care?

THATS EXACTLY WHAT BARACK OBAMA'S HEALTHCARE PLAN WILL DO TO AMERICANS! IN FACT ITS BEGUN TO HAPPEN IN MAINE MASSACHUSETTS AND CALIFORNIA! I EVEN WROTE ABOUT IT!
That's what the denials will be called within the circus redefined as healthcare.
I often wonder what the unintended consequences will be from Obamacare. You know there will be some. I’m guessing that it will hurt retention of military personnel. One reason some stay in are because of a child or spouse’s preexisting condition.
Its amazing how they came up with this. Universal healthcare has been around for what, 60 or 70 years? Perhaps 150 years in concept? Did the Roman’s use denial of universal health care as a social control tool? What about Ghengis Kahn, or Louis XIV’s France? This is silly and truly is Communist thinking, literally. “A man is not free unless he has the means to live handed too him.” Communism 101. Its all recent thinking. No basis in history.
These people writing and believing this garbage are in denial, moronic, and idiots. “Restrictions on health care availability are an effective form of social control”? lulz!! How about that healthcare as a mandate is effectively a “form of social control”? How about Social Security and Medicare being forms of social control?
May all socialists, communists, and progressive libtards burn in their own versions of Hell....=.=
Good point.
