Today is the day she may walk free. Prepare yourselves.
Call me Pollyanna, but the Judge did give FingerBoy 6 days. Hopefully he has scoured the law so she can cool her heels a little longer.
I don’t think Cindy or George or Lee had a single direct thing to do with Caylee’s murder but all three of them were very active in the cover up and the cover up probably began on July 16th or July 17th, 2008.
“”I have a question. Has it ever been explained why
George said June 9th
Cindy June 8th
Casey said June 9th
when asked when was the last time they saw Caylee?””
I don’t see that anyone has answered your question. I didn’t get a ping so I didn’t know this thread was running until just a bit ago.
It was Cindy who originally made the error of saying June 9 - the day she had taken Caylee to visit her father on Father’s Day in the rest home. Casey picked up on that date and went with it.
I can’t remember what date George used but he is the one who saw Casey leave the house with Caylee that last morning she was seen - at least by anyone in the family and that would have been on the 16th of June!! I think Cindy explained it on the witness stand. She was a week off about Father’s Day.
I’ve got some catching up to do reading today’s posts on this subject. I did spend a lot of time reading emails between Rick (Cindy’s brother) and Cindy. Those were infuriating. I’m surprised the brother didn’t make the trip from SC to FL to strangle the whole bunch of them!
Did you hear tonight that a reporter heard Cindy say (when Casey came into the courtroom today), “She looks beautiful.” What a weird, weird thing to say but what a weird, weird family. Casey was the typical narcissist playing with her hair this morning. Pretty much the same way she played with her blouse/top every day in court. Makes one sick!!! She cares what she looks like at this point? No depth to that family - very shallow!
You babbled that the duct tape across Caylee’s nose and mouth was a coverup for an accident. Thus, your credibility is in the toilet.
“”Their marriage won’t survive this...Caley and Casey were the glue that held it together.””
I agree wholeheartedly with that statement. I believe that Cindy will want to take Casey back to their home and that George will finally put his foot down. He’ll say “no way” and Cindy will listen to him for once or he’ll pack up and walk!! Couldn’t blame him.
I guess he has his own demons to fight but I think the man deserves some peace. He apparently has had problems holding a job but just how much did his family life contribute to that? He could have been the type of person who could go to work and put it all behind him or he could have stewed over the situation at home until he couldn’t function.
The verdict is a sad one and the destruction of so many people’s lives - including the death of a child - just can’t be put into words. A horrible shame!
By that time they all knew Caley was gone...and clearly other family memebers had warned them if Casey didn't tell the truth she could get the death penalty......and SOOOOO do as families such as this often do ...they were going to do all possible to keep Casey from the death penalty.
This family went into big time "co-dependant mode"..just as they always had to do regarding anything Casey brought on them.... Only this time her life was at stake.
The family has had a lifetime of chaos it's 'familar' regardless.. and people find 'comfort' in the familiar even in abusive and severly dysfunctional homes. ...they'd been there with Casey many times before...it was "normal" for them...and Casey was after all family.
The police were still looking for Cayley up til Dec....so I'm not certain of the dates they actually accepted the realities....but as you say there was a cover up for Casey, they weren't about to loose her too.
I'm going to watch some of the videos of Casey as she learned she wasn't going to go home today. I've seen shots of her, hair down and makeup on already to "go out to meet the world". And not surprisingly she "dressed" for it. Camera's would be rolling and the star would emerge. But I guess it didn't happen so I want to see her as she learns this.
“>>Call me pessimistic, but since a myriad of FReepers have already done that a zillion times, I somehow doubt once more will penetrate that thick skull of yours.<<
Yeah, I didnt think you could. “
I haven’t read every reply to juror #3’s request for proof of slutmom putting the duct tape on Caylee, so I’ll take the bait: The duct tape brand was RARE. Now see, juror number 3, you could say “Rare means it’s like a steak could be rare.”. OK, good point, let me change that to “ highly unusual tape.”. And it was this same highly unusual tape that was found at the Anthony home. Just one part of the puzzle. Had the tape been common, no link could have been established. Does this piece of the puzzle establish beyond a reasonable doubt who placed the tape over her mouth and nose? Given all the other circumstances, it does for me.
Thanks..
I just stumbled across this:

A motherlode of things I have not seen.
I cant remember what date George used but he is the one who saw Casey leave the house with Caylee that last morning she was seen - at least by anyone in the family and that would have been on the 16th of June!! I think Cindy explained it on the witness stand. She was a week off about Fathers Day.
It is probably going to be just me who sees it this way but that's okay. I said Susan Smith killed her kids a week before they found them and sometimes I have a lot of luck reading sinister people.
The way I think it went is like this. Casey said June 9th and for whatever reason Cindy picked it up and went with it. Cindy is a nut for details. She would have known exactly when she last saw Caylee because she took a week of vacation AFTER the June 15th backyard fight and Casey's disappearance just hoping Casey would come back. I'm guessing blow ups on Casey's part happened before and she probably stomped out with Caylee before but never stayed away more than a couple of days. We will never know this for sure because Cindy, George, and Lee would never tell.
I think the reason Cindy went with the 9th was to put the cops off course timeline wise. She already knew Caylee was dead. It was just one of those lies those people tell to divert the rest of us and she stayed with it until that video make it obvious to everyone that Caylee was very alive on June 15, 2008.
Then George chimed in that he saw the 2 of them leave the house on June 16, 2008. I have never believed that one. Likely Cindy told him to say that in order to reset the timeline again. In one of the Rick/Shirley emails I believe someone in the family was told that when the Anthony's got up at about 7:00 a.m. on June 16th Casey and Caylee were already gone. It might have been Cindy's mother who told her brother that.
I think that holds more with Casey's personality. After Cindy choked her in the backyard there is no doubt in my mind that Casey had a major blow up and gathered Caylee up threatening Cindy that she would never see Caley again and then Casey stormed off.
The thing to remember here is ANY statement made by an Anthony is highly suspect. They all lie and mostly do so all of the time. If one of them said the sky is blue I'd have to go outside and check for myself.
Sigh...I wish I could reassure you but I can't. The unreasonable among us will say it could have been one of the other Anthonys who live in that house.
We need to give it up...they're hopeless.
You're absolutely right. Go back and check a couple of the old YouTube videos (there are zillions) of the psycho interacting with her family. They would do anything for their sick brat.
“”And the reason she knew it was Casey and/or Lee told her after she hung up with 911 and before the police got to the house.””
Lee testified that his mother had to keep leaving to cool down when he was asking Casey questions that night in her bedroom. The one 911 call had already been made and Lee was trying to tell Casey what it would be like when the cops got there - and that was ONLY for the problems that Cindy related to 911 at that time - not the disappearance of her granddaughter.
Cindy walked outside and paced around. She returned to the house, walked down the hall and heard Casey tell Lee that she hadn’t seen Caylee in 31 days. That’s when she made the next 911 calls....George found her outside the home again when he returned to the house.
I don’t imagine things were exactly as Cindy related them on the stand as we’ve seen her on videos with a vicious, cussing out of reporters and others on their property. I would imagine there was a lot of shouting and cussing by all of them.
Thanks. I have hinkymeter saved in favorites and I think I was there today also...I’ll go back again and look for anything new.
It’s a good thing I’m old and greyheaded or this would have turned my hair white overnight....
I did not in any way give an opinion that I thought it was a cover up.
I simply, when asked what could possibly be an explanation for the tape being there, gave different scenarios that I could think of off the top of my head.
For the record I have no idea, nor does anyone else, know what caused Caylees death or how she ended up in the place she was found. The person who asked the question was trying to insinuate that the tape on the skull was some kind of proof of murder and that her mother put it there. I was simply pointing out that the prosecution did not, nor could they, prove that. Read the thread to get context.
When you take things out of context you end up thinking the prosecution proved beyond reasonable doubt that Casey murdered Caylee.
Could be. But again, you are relying on the information and timeline the 3 Anthony’s (Cindy, Casey, Lee) are giving. I have no reason to believe anything is true outside of what I can hear and get from the 911 calls. I do not ever rely solely on what one of those 4 says. Even being under oath means nothing to them.
Now please prove to me that Casey put it there and not one of the other members of the household that had access to that tape. You have tied the tape to the household but there were four adults in that house and by the account of the equisearch (or whatever that group is called) he believed the entire household was trying to cover up knowing that Caylee was already dead and werent being cooperative. He made it rather clear that he thought the entire family was complicit in the coverup.
Cindy and George ARE the parents who raised Casey who murdered her own baby.....of course they are capable of a cover-up. How else did Casey evolve into a monster, but to have two parents capable of the same thing. Lee needs to run far away from this freaky family. Those tears because they left him out....heck, they should be tears of joy. Get OUT LEE! RUN!
dude, put down the bong...
“We need to give it up...they’re hopeless.”
It’s like when Whorealdo said she was a good mother. Yes, there was testimony from some claiming that, but what mother freeloads for years off her parents, who in actuality do the vast majority of the parenting of the child? That’s a good mother? And what mother goes 31 minutes without being in a complete panic when they can’t find their child, let alone 31 days? What good mother doesn’t tell any of the people she’s around including her boyfriend that her child is missing? And what good mother LIES and claims to have spoken to their daughter on July 15/16 2008?
I really have a hard time with the gross stupidity of so many defenders of slutmom the brutal and cold-hearted killer of an adorable little girl. Like Susan Smith, they were both hooked up to guys that wouldn’t make room for their children. It’s a package deal Tony Lazara. You get the slut but the child comes with her.
“When you take things out of context you end up thinking the prosecution proved beyond reasonable doubt that Casey murdered Caylee. “
No it’s you taking every single piece out of context you m-——n!
You are very kind through my many attempts. Listening to hubby while feeding dogs and this is obviously more than I can handle.
