Today is the day she may walk free. Prepare yourselves.

Call me Pollyanna, but the Judge did give FingerBoy 6 days. Hopefully he has scoured the law so she can cool her heels a little longer.

My husband was saying that none of us know what was happening in that jury room. A deal may have been struck from the beginning that they take a vote first thing. If most of the folks were leaning toward letting her off, then they all agree to let her off.

They wanted to go home, that is after they had breakfast and lunch, of course.

Murder was the appropriate charge. The ME determined murder of undetermined means. 1st degree may have been a stretch, but no one buys the accidental theory.

You could be right. My hubby says let her loose; so she can begin her road to hell. He says she will end up a druggie doing pornos.

No. It wasn’t the prosecution. I’m convinced that this jury would not have convicted her on the important charges unless someone had a video of her committing the crime, plus Gil Grissom’s personal appearance to pull non-existent DNA out of his hat. And to top it off, perhaps guest appearances from the cast of Hawaii 5-0, Castle, and Bluebloods. Columbo, alas, was unavailable on account of his demise.

I couldn’t listen to him or the others backing the jury for the last couple of days.

OK, my friend. Which one killed her then?

And what specific proof of the crime points to that individual.

I wasn’t aware he said that. Good on him. My beef with O’R is over his frequent sliming of FR and Sarah Palin.

O'Reilly also argued with Geraldo over the verdict.

Relevance? I clearly wrote that elected officials are a part of our Constitution, just as our Judicial system is. If you have the right to protest the actions of duly elected politicians because you don’t agree with them, then you must support the right to protest the actions of a jury. You can’t have it both ways and say you can protest one and not the other. You know this and are purposely avoiding the question because you can’t argue it.

Everyone saw her parents and her on video disputing drowning, that is except the jury because they weren’t paying attention or it sailed over their moronic heads. Wasn’t that little scene played in court a few times?

Capital murder was not the only charge available to find Casey culpable of her daughter’s murder.

Everything points to Casey. Nothing points to anyone else.

I thought I heard that Jesse was to be on Dr. Drew tonight, but I don’t find any reference on his website.

No one on the jury was watching Nancy Grace, so what is the article tying to prove?

Which one killed her then? And what specific proof of the crime points to that individual.

Give it a rest.

Evidently it's not going to be possible for anyone to convince you that Casey Anthony should have been convicted.

We'll eventually hear in a few years that Casey admitted to someone she was responsible for the baby's death.

Let's hope she doesn't get pregnant again.

I’m done with Hannity...his cliches have been wearing thin anyway and he doesn’t let his guests talk.

I’ll give Levin a mulligan, depending on how intense he wants to defend this great miscarriage of justice and these imbecile jury members.

>>What Ashton conceded was the EXACT sequence of events we can, of course, not know<<

Watch the interview for crying out loud. He and the alternate juror were on the same interview. He agreed with the juror that they do not “know what really happened” to Caylee. As in, don’t know if it was and accident or if someone did something purposely to cause her death.

When asked if we will ever know what really happened to Caylee, Ashton said, definitively, “No, we never will. We never will”.

The prosecution put the jurors in an untenable situation because they didn’t establish one scenario and build their case on that.

I understand the emotionalism surrounding wanting someone to pay for Caylees death and it probably should be Casey in some way but the prosecution screwed it up along with the detective who didn’t investigate the first time he was told of the skull in the swamp.

So no one should be angry at Casey Anthony then?
I really am tired of these threads. You and your ilk defend the jury as paragons of our justice system and bristle when anyone disagrees with you. Yes, ours is the best system in the world. No I wouldn’t want it changed. But this time an innocent child will get no justice other than what God will mete out. Is it wrong for thinking that justice should be done before this “mother” gets rich off her dead child?
That will never happen now. Between Casey and her parent someone knows what happened. We probably never will.
By the way, none of you guys will answer about the Laci Peterson case. Why not?
No one saw him kill his wife or throw her in the Bay, yet he was proclaimed guilty. How did this occur?

I am defending the Jury’s responsibility to make the best decision they felt they could.

Why is that so horrible?

The folks on this thread are saying they should not have been on the jury, that they are idiots, calling me names, etc.

I am defending the jury system. Many people on the thread believe that justice is only served when you get the result you want.

The jury was selected with the equal application of the law—both sides had their opportunities to get folks off the jury and they ended up with what they got.

I trust that the jury took their jobs seriously. The fact that 11 of the 12 jurors left, got in their cars and went home tells me they did not think they were on a reality show.

In our system you are going to get decisions you agree with, and those you don’t. But I trust the judicial system here against all of the other alternatives.

“I was also deeply disappointed in Mark Levin’s ignorant comments on this case. Geez, Mark, at least read some transcripts before running off at the mouth...”

Second that. But maybe it’s good we know he’s so wrong on this issue and allow us to think a little more critically when listening to the great one.

I was also disappointed when he felt an exception to the first amendment should have been carved out against those despicable funeral protesters.

The fact was, the Phelps clan did NOT disturb that funerals, and the father suing only later saw the Phelps clan on a tv news report.
