I still don’t understand how premeditation isn’t completely evident. First of all, the mandible is in place, so the duct tape was there at the time of death (preposterous to believe it was placed there later anyway). Secondly, the fact that there was duct tape on the face proves she killed her by suffocation and that she intended to kill her by suffocation, or she wouldn’t have had the duct tape with her in the first place. You haven’t missed anything - the skull was in the same place for months, which is proven by the fact that the jaw was in place perfectly because vines grew up as it continued to decompose and they held it in place. I agree with you - I don’t know how anyone can’t see that fact.
