Good Morning to all, and Happy Independence Day.
There are also sure to be courtroom fireworks as the State gives it rebuttal and the case is expected to be sent to the jury.
Court is starting early today at 8:30 a.m.
The countdown for justice for Caylee begins.
I like the fact that most if not all of Baezs’ objections got overruled. Baez knows he is sunk.
Good morning all and happy 4th!
Is your housework done and you’re all prepared for your 4th of July guests? You must have worked through the night.
So true. Yesterday I was flipping channels from local to national and Horrendo Revolver(geraldo) was spewing lies and partial truths to his audience. I screamed at tv asking if we are watching the same trial. Local is only show in town with the truth.
I have a daughter who has lived in apartments during college and I know the difficulty we had in finding a good place with security because in college towns they often want a one year lease - not 6 months, not letting you out for the summer months. The demand is high so you go out in February to secure a place for the following September.
Amy was led on to the point that she moved out of her apartment the end of June, but Casey lied and said there was a small delay in her moving into the house.
Amy had to put things in storage and live with a couple of male friends, all while waiting for the call saying "come on now"... this wasn't something being sort of planned in the future - the move in day came and went and Amy was left hanging - Casey doesn't think ahead for anyone but herself.
You and I are of the same school, and I've gotten flak for it. My oldest lives with me and her four kids, three of them babies. If she hurt any one of them, I'd take her down myself.
Agree!!!!!...the locals are doing a much better, thorough job......especially WFTV!
Do you think Scott Peterson killed his wife? He’s on death row - no cause of death in her murder.
Casey snarled something under her breath when Ashton was defending her father. She must really hate George probably because he won’t defend her unless Cindy makes him do it.
How do you know that the father didn’t do it?
You're not kidding. Time to start doing some serious power walking!
Hahaha! That's so funny, and so close to a name we use for him--Horrendo Redundo. Among others. ;)
Well, that’s your right. I, too, only saw the defense and closing arguments but came to a completely different conclusion. The only difference is that I followed the story back in ‘08 and was horrified at Casey’s partying and Cindy’s first Today Show appearance. She was gussied up and preening and unpleasant. I believe Cindy is at the bottom of all this family’s problems.
Anyone notice that Casey is talking to herself? She’s done it several times now.
We need this conviction - I’m so sick of criminals getting off on technicalities or because idiots want to make a statement.
“”In my mind, I dont know how ANYONE could vote not-guilty for Casey””
There have been so many SIMPLE statements made in this trial that make more sense than any of the expert testimony.
Ashton said this morning, “Why would anyone make an accident look like a murder?”
Another one early on was, “If this was an accident, why has Casey been in jail for three years?”
I know this is probably BS but I was reading on Websluthes last night that according to an inmate of Casey’s Casey says she is pregnant and waiting for the right time to tell the jury. If this were true would be a hoot but I really doubt it. Only people could be father would be a prison guard or Baez. I just thought I would pass this on for the first BANG on the 4th lol BTW Websluthes have some really good reads on a lot of cases. I found that site during Scott Peterson
I hadn’t heard about this. Were the Anthonys really going to move out, or was Casey just going to make them disappear as she did with Caylee?
...... his understanding of the proceedings, experience and articulation is a learning process for the rest of us.
Why would anyone put regular clothes back on a child that drown in a swimming pool. And duct tape.
“”Surely I didnt just see Baez making faces?! Oh, wait.....yes I did!””
Yes, he has been. Why didn’t the rule that the judge read yesterday to the attorneys apply to Casey also? It said, “ANYONE at the counsel tables”....I don’t know why that wasn’t stopped at the beginning of the trial. She’s done it consistently without any warning whatsoever.
I've always been fascinated by mysteries, particularly unsolved crime cases. Your comment about Casey's possible revelation was quite interesting. I've always wondered why, when someone KNOWINGLY commits murder, they try so hard to cover it up? On the surface that may seem like a simple question, but I've actually spent time thinking about it, pondering the various possibilities. I think there are two main reasons:
2) SHAME. People are ashamed of what they've done and will do or say anything to have people believe them.
1) FEAR OF GOING TO PRISON FOR LIFE. This is #1 and people will do anything, say anything, throw anyone under the bus in order to beat the charges. I believe many perps lie in bed at night, making deals with God, e.g. "If You get me out of this, I'll follow You and never do anything wrong again!"
The most interesting thing (to me) about a murderer who walks free is the gnawing guilt (and fear) that grows in their gut as they approach the end of their life. When the flames of Hell are licking at their deathbed, I wonder if they feel it was worth it.
NOTE---I must state I firmly believe murderers can be forgiven and thus, accepted into Heaven. But I also believe God wants them to PUBLICLY admit what they've done. That may be a deal breaker for many, who take their secret to the grave.
