Good Morning to all, and Happy Independence Day.
There are also sure to be courtroom fireworks as the State gives it rebuttal and the case is expected to be sent to the jury.
Court is starting early today at 8:30 a.m.
The countdown for justice for Caylee begins.
With Casey, you can’t trust the pop-analysis. Above all, she’s an actress, and she’s getting better at it over time. It wouldn’t surprise me if it came out that she practiced crying, just for instance, once she realized her lack of proper emotion was turning off the jury.
Most of us are not sociopaths, and give clues to what’s really on our minds all the time. Really good poker players use it their advantage frequently.
I still don’t understand how premeditation isn’t completely evident. First of all, the mandible is in place, so the duct tape was there at the time of death (preposterous to believe it was placed there later anyway). Secondly, the fact that there was duct tape on the face proves she killed her by suffocation and that she intended to kill her by suffocation, or she wouldn’t have had the duct tape with her in the first place. Everything else is irrelevant to the fact, really. What am I missing?
Actually, her facial expression reminds me of how Tiger Woods looked when he was going through his "trials"
I’ve served 3 times on jury duty (doesn’t exactly make me an expert, does it?!) and we always had one black male jury member. They always wanted to go for acquittal no matter what the race of the defendant. Sometimes this is good because it makes other jurors put on their thinking caps and work out the truth. On the other hand, it can be really trying!
from evidence to reasonable doubt......moving along.
GM all...I didn’t know court started early. Has Ashton been speaking very long?? Did I miss something important?? Happy 4th everyone
Good morning everyone!
Ashton has gotton past the "boring" part early. He's building his blocks again and I'll bet it will be a fantastic finish!
Yes, the Angry Guppy look. Perfect. It’s amazing how homely she’s turned out to be once the hair streaks and makeup have been taken away. Her true character is sooooo evident.
Burn the witch already.
No, Ashton is just tying everything together nicely. Linda Burdick is also going to get a chance to speak.
my only time listenin to this trial was the defense arguements and now the prosecution comments.......nothing before at all but I heard reasonable doubt
just sayin as an outsider
Wow, three times? Were the rest of you able to turn those jurors, or did they end up hanging the juries?
Once again, Casey averts her eyes right on cue.
You haven’t missed anything - the skull was in the same place for months, which is proven by the fact that the jaw was in place perfectly because vines grew up as it continued to decompose and they held it in place. I agree with you - I don’t know how anyone can’t see that fact.
Ashton doing a great job in pointing out the blatant absurdities of the defense testimony.
No tear for Caylee. Pretty telling right there!
So just hearing the side of the guy who is trying anything he can to get her off gave you reasonable doubt? I’m sorry but that is kind of funny. That would be like listening to a liberal spout his love for Obammy if you didn’t know anything about politics. In other words, Baez was not telling the truth
He is doing a good job. I would say “what idiot would believe the defense”..... he’s using evidence :)
I understand why they cannot show the death scene and death photos on television, but obviously they are compelling photographic evidence. Wish I could see them.
