This should come as a surprise to absolutely no one. The radical Marxist-progressives (communists) took control of the democrat party some time ago. They’ve only become more emboldened with the election of Barack Obama, who was raised as a communist from birth.
With their new found leader, Barack Obama, the Socialist Party of America felt secure enough to announce the names of 70 democrats in Congress that belong to their caucus. This was recently posted on Scribd.com:

I will save and send this list to every unrepentant Democrat voter I know......almost everyone in my family and friends sadly.
Truth be known, our 3rd Congressional Representative, Senator Pat ("Depends") Leahy (who should still be serving time in Leveanworth for his Treasonous acts) is as far Left as either "Bronx Bernie" Sanders of "Petey" Welch.
Having grown up here in the 50's and watched this State's slide from a Conservative/Mod one to a Liberal enclave (as a result of an influx of Moonbat Flatlanders from NJ, CT, MA, NY and other Progressive States) to now being one of the "Bluest" has led me to decide to move to Florida later this year, where I can live among more sane, rational and Conservative people.
It was not socialism that drove Hitler and his Nazis from power in 1945, it was America. It was not socialism that opened the Nazi prison camps and freed the tortured and oppressed; it was America. It was not socialism that defeated the Japanese emperor who attacked America at Pearl Harbor. It was not socialism that put a man in space or a man on the moon; it was America. It was not socialism that fed Germany in the Berlin Airlift; it was America. It was not socialist Europe that kept the Suez Canal open; it was America.
Socialism has spied on America for 50 years and stolen most American technology to use against us. Socialists have undermined the principle of individual work for profit, undermined our education system, undermined our beliefs, and worst of all, Socialism has undermined our Constitution and our freedoms.
Any elected official who has adopted socialism after he has sworn to uphold the laws of the United States needs to step down or be removed from office. They are not Americans any longer. They have adopted the philosophy of a foreign enemy who has sworn to destroy America and what we stand for.
