Well, I can tell you that this will be HUGE for the sport with regard to new fans, new clubs and young riders Down Under. Welcome Australia’s LeMond... And this finish was almost as thrilling as 1989. Vive le Tour, vive La France, and THANK YOU RIDERS!

I won't be here tomorrow, but I want to say it has been a pleasure riding out this tour with all of you.

For the last three weeks I have gone to bed looking forward to joining the Free Republic peloton in the morning.
