Closing on 3k to go. Contador has been caught by Sanchez and Rolland. A Frenchman coud win the d’Huez stage!
Evans just attacked his little group, which includes the Schlecks. They’re a bit over a minute behind, so Contador is out of it. Evans is best placed going into the TT tomorrow if all holds as is.
how is AS doing?
Where?
Rolland takes the stage, Contador 3rd. At least he’ll get to stand on the podium once...
maybe I can find somewhere tomorrow with a decent connection to stream live coverage. At least its recorded and waiting for me at home. If I do find live coverage will be difficult as DH didn’t get to see yesterdays stage yet, so he is totally in the dark. Im gonna bust trying not to give it away!!
Best thing to do if you have internet (which you obviously do) is to follow the newsflashes on the official Tour de France site. They do a very good job of keeping you up to the minute.
For what? Most aggressive?
Taos. My daughter has been dancing at a summer intensive here for the last month. We are here to pick her up and see the final preformance! One of the few things I am willing to miss Alp Dhuez for
My internet connection is so spotty it keeps kicking me out Believe me Ive tried!
Andy will be in yellow tomorrow, and will start the TT last. Brother Frank is currently second at 53 sec, Aussie Evans third, but only 57 sec back.
I found some sites that provided live streaming a while back. See post 221.
3rd place in the stage.
And also most aggressive.
Will be a great day!!!!
Andy S. came in with a group including Evans, brother Frank, Damiano & Ryder H. — I believe that he has the yellow by a bit, but it’s going to be down to the Time trial tomorrow ... very, very good race, another amazing stage today.
I admit I was glad to see Contador caught up and passed ... I just don’t get how he could look like crap yesterday and then do what he did today — I understand you can eat something that upsets your system, or not eat enough or keep hydrated, or just feel “off” one day, but he’s ddone this quite a few times in my memory.
We feel your pain!! You can come watch it at my house. I’m in Denver- not far.... I’ll keep the recording for you!
He’ll get most aggressive but the only podium appearance for a stage is for 1st.
I personally can’t stand him. I was very happy that he lost time yesterday. I don’t think his team likes him either. They don’t seem to have any interest in working for him.
Pierre Rolland is an ANIMAL! Over and over we have seen him leading the way for Voekler. Looking like he just got up from a nap. Today is the first time I have seen him look like he is actually suffering. He didn’t even open his mouth to breathe until today. What a cool cucumber!
Definitely one to watch. He is a heck of a climber!
Whoa! the grupetto has finished outside the time limit again! This time I guess Rojas was in the group otherwise Cavendish would have lost his green jersey. They were all penalized 20 points again.
Geez!
Oh, thanks for the correction. I thought all 3 got on the podium, because when you look at the Tour’s website they show the stage’s top three as if they are on a podium, just as they do the GC. I’ve never seen an actual stage win podium shot.
