The Red Sox have joined the "It Gets Better Project" and "The Trevor Project" to inspire hope for young people who may be struggling
Great, now we’ll have to suffer through another Gay-a-thon from Steve Buckley on WEEI.
“Great, now well have to suffer through another Gay-a-thon from Steve Buckley on WEEI.”
Aw, c’mon, Boston lived through “Boy Bob” all those years.
I just sent an email to my favorite team encouraging them not to participate in this campaign, and appealing to their sense of respect for all their fans, including those on both sides of this divisive issue.
Baseball is supposed to be entertainment, not politics. Can’t there be anything that people on both sides of this issue enjoy together? Why must MLB enter this controversy? Would they take a stand on abortion? On Democrat vs. Republican? I, for one, will simply not support any sports franchise that doesn’t stay out of this battle. It’s not their place.
I suggest everyone write to their favorite sports franchises to make the same plea. Tell them to stay out of politics, or you will not spend your money on team merchandise, tickets, or even spend your time watching their games.
Good idea.
MLB seems like the most PC-whipped organization in pro sports.
i agree with the It gets better campaign.By this I mean When any reprobate homosexual says I must accept their “orientation” and tolerate their desires and I remind them what is written in Scripture -and remind them the Code remains
and I will NEVER surrender of my own free will.” (from the Code of Conduct administered by a drill instructor for the US Army back in June of 1969-and just as valid today as when I accepted it as my own) Then they go find somebody led by the “progressive” enemy of my Country for compassion and see— it works -it does get better- when they stop trying to convert me.
the pink sox.
when they did the homosexual advisor makeover you just knew the sox were doomed to ridicule.
I simply made it clear that I don’t think the “it gets better” campaign is an issue they have any business getting into.
Remember they made Schilling back out of Pubbie campaign stops then showed up in NH for Dems? Massholes.
Why do they insist on lying to them?
Why do who insist on lying to whom? I’m not sure what your point is. I know your question is rhetorical, but...
The peope who thought up this stupid “It Gets Better” Campaign. It doesn’t people who participate in that lifestyle have many more health issues, die on average 15 years before straight people do and many many of them suffer from all sort of mental issues I suspect because deep down they are botherd by their own lifestyle...
Mercifully, I am well out of range of WEEI.
Now I understand what you meant, and I agree.
I just hope the NHL does not get involved.
