Interesting information on the facebook/google searches, libertylover. It could be the focus on chloroform is a mute point. The child was found with duct tape wrapped around her head (nose and mouth), three times. Casey Anthony trial experts describe tot's bones Now that would suffocate/kill her w/or w/o chloroform.

Why three times....who knows. I guess to make sure. The duct tape couldn't have been on the bag and transferred to the child's skull. It was likely the cause of her death, not some wierd thing done after her death.

Anyone know whether there was any evidence presented about sleeping pills in the house or something that would have insured the child was pliant while wrapping her?

An interesting note was that the cadavre (human decompostion) dog made his final alert (settled on) the back passenger seat where it meets the trunk border when inspecting the car. It could be the smell was strongest there vs. closer to the fender/trunk area. Or possibly the child was in a carseat when she was killed/began decomposing and later "bagged up" and moved to the trunk. That is where most people smelled the "dead body" smell - when the trunk was open. The dog picked the back seat where it is adjacent to the trunk.

BTW, that same dog was able to indicate a body buried underneath a garage floor in an earlier case.

I have NO doubt the body was in the car. Even without Dr. Vass’ (sp?) testimony there were still about 4 humans and 2 dogs that know that smell.

There was no testimony about sleeping pills or anything. There has been speculation by talking heads that Zanny The Nanny really refers to Zan… some drug with a similar name that could konk-out a kid.

Why three times with the duct tape? It’s been my experience with duct tape (not on dead bodies) that’s it hard to get a good seal the first time. I’ll put on one piece, realize it’s not doing the job and put on another, and maybe another to get a good seal. And the contours around the mouth and nose would make it hard to get it formed just right with just one piece. This would be true whether it was used to kill her or to seal oozing decomposition fluids.

I have to toot my own horn a little bit here, Rush style.

During the trial I made the comment that I thought the software program “CacheBack” was JUNK SOFTWARE!

I don’t know if you’ve heard but the software developer has now admitted that he found a huge error and that “chloroform” was only searched once, not 84 times as he testified in court and all the talking heads like Nancy disGrace latched on to.

He claims he sent the info to the prosecutor’s office but was ignored. The Prosecutor’s office says he sent the new info to the wrong address. I think it’s being investigated.
