Beatrisz Duque was walking her two dogs, one with a leash and the other without, near a lake on Hiatus Road in Plantation. Her weimariner walked down the canal bank and was snatched by the alligator,...May God also bring her some common sense so that in the future she doesn't allow her remaining dog to run loose on the bank of a canal filled with alligators. Geez, ya mean Florida has alligators in the canals? Who knew? :)
NEVER walk your dog without a leash near a canal....you are just asking for something to happen.
