I don’t have one only because I don’t want to deal with another rifle cartridge. It’s the same reason I never bought a .303 Enfield. I’ll stick with the 30-06 and .308.

many of these guns are surprisingly accurate, with many people reporting groups of 4 or less at 100 yards. Absolutely true. Off hand.

I’m waiting until they’ll let me have Vasili Zaitsev’s with the scope.

Just got past the halfway point in your first book and this headline jumped out at me . . . LOL!

"Even if you dont do a lot of shooting, having one of these guns in your closet with a can of ammo is your responsibility. You never know when the king of England might come looking for back taxes." I just happen to have one anyway, but it's not for that sort of thing.

Why don’t I have one yet?
Um... I can’t afford the cost of orthopedic surgeons for my shoulder?
What do I win?

Gotta love the Mosey-Nugget.
Reasonably accurate.
Hits hard, esp. with 174gr bullet.
Dirt cheap.
Ammo also dirt cheap.
Interesting piece of history.
What's not to like?

WooHoo! Bought one last week. Not a scratch on it, looks brand new. Hope to shoot this weekend.

I’ve got an M38 from 1943. It was used to slay National Socialists.
To: dynachrome
Why? Because the ammo is expensive. And bolt action. Not good if the shtf.

I would love to have a 1898 Mauser. I can’t seem to find one when I have the money to buy it.

A look at the best rifle Russia ever produced Enough said.
I don’t own one because while it may be the best Russia ever produced, it is a skank compared to most arms of it’s era. It’s heavy, rough, and just plain old butt ugly. I build beautiful custom rifles from many old actions and there is nothing you can do to hide ugly like a Mosin. It’s ugly goes all the way to the bone. Yes, I know, they are hardy and shootable...yadda, yadda, yadda.....
No, i never dated an ugly girl either.
