Just remember that the worst of the democrats control the ballot box by illegal means.
It depends on which polls are used to define the Obama presidency.
If the polls only queiry liberal-Democratic strongholds and their opinions Obama looks like the next savior, and is re-elected easily. On the other hand if the polls only queiry conservative-Republican strongholds Obama apears a socialist usurper, and loses in what accounts for a landslide.
Its the middle where the fight occurs. It always was and always will be.
We can not hope to say conservatives are on the side of the middle. We can only hope that we can provide leadership and a sharp distinction to the middle.
It’s possible. Dead people don’t respond to polls, but they have been known to vote.
Jack Acidly weighs in.
He’s hoping for a bounce from the anti-war left (mostly) in the polls but those people are going to vote for Obama anyway so, while it may move some of his numbers, it won’t largely help his re-election chances.
But also keep in mind the presidency is 51 elections, not one so raw percentages are meaningless until you break them down state by state. Way too early to focus on that yet.
From the article: “No one in that lackluster field...”
Granted. The Republican field isn’t as strong as I’d like, but compared to President Obama and his neo-Marxist administration, I’d crawl over broken glass to elect any one of the current crop of Republicans, including Romney. As bad as Romney is, he’s no anti-American Marxist. This is about national survival, not a stupid popularity contest.
I still think he’ll win.
Remember - stopping vote fraud is racist!
