No way. Eighties were a wonderful time to be in high school. I was so glad to be raised in that era. Breakfast Club, St. Elmo’s Fire, Ferris Bueller, Top Gun and so many other incredible movies. I feel sorry for high school students today and in fact in the 90’s.....what a shame.

As opposed to the 70’s, which were a horrible decade to be in high school. Lessee . . . bubble gum or disco? Hmmm . . . Had to go seriously off the grid for any decent music.

yes, the 80’s were a wonderful time to grow up, Reagan was in office, we had just come out of a horrible end of the 60’s and 70’s. I’m hoping for just a touch of that for my daughter with the next President (and maybe even some 80’s hair styles).

In the 80’s, it was the kids who outsmarted the adults. Ferris, War Games, ET.
In the 90’sand beyond it was Clueless and Dude, wheres my car.

I was in high school 70-73
The BEST time to be there. Earth Day and all the other lefty indoctrination was just starting. I got out alive. And I actually learned stuff.

Absolutely. I get grief from my children because I refuse to “move on” from listening to my eighties music. :)

Not to mention all the music too. We had all the great rock bands.
They only have teeny pop singers and rap thugs now.
