HOQUIAM, Wash. Police say a man was carrying a dead weasel when he burst into an apartment and assaulted a man in Washington state.
The victim asked, "Why are you carrying a weasel?" Police said the attacker answered, "It's not a weasel, it's a marten," then punched him in the nose and fled.

The WORST thing about that story is that the guy can vote, and procreate.

And he makes multi-billion dollar decisions.
The runner up was getting asked if I received any alarms from teh freezer alarm test.
When I asked when teh test was, they said “around 3:30 PM.”
We aren’t there until 1800/6:00 PM.
He couldn’t understand that we have no information about alarms prior to when we get there.
Could not comprehend it at all.
It was as if they believed we could get the alarms at home or something.

I got Laura Ingraham’s new book. I’m trying to like it, but ... *shrug*.
Fortunately, it’s a quick read, and then I can get on to the batch of books about the Plains Indians I found in the bibliography of “Empire of the Summer Moon.”

The duct tape worked. I can print again. :)
Which means I can print out labels for my shipments rather then writing them by hand and taking them to the post office.
Well... having Hubby take them to the post office.

Thanks for the inside knowledge HTB! :-)
I tried about an ounce of fresh oregano, about an eighth of a cup of epsom salts, mixed and mashed in warm water. It was OK.... My feet were cleaner I guess, but isn’t this supposed to make a girl feel wonderful? Do I need more salts?
Did you get your hair cut, Face?
I did it...got the tea-pot. I can’t make it look as nice as the hairdresser did, but I think I like it.
T-C, you used the term tea-pot, so I asked the 30ish girl who cuts my hair...she said she had never heard of a tea-pot. That night my Mom saw the cut and immediately called it a tea-pot!

I think someone else said “Tea Pot,” because it’s not ringing any bells. Google is not helping, either.

I built a small Chinese stay bridge today for my sister. Too many details will make the story less impressive.

"I built a small Chinese stay bridge today for my sister. Too many details will make the story less impressive." I didn't do much today. Work, made a reservation at a restaurant, and saw the last Harry Potter movie.
Ordinary stuff. Nothing magical.
.
Wait. That's not quite right.

Sigh. The Offspring will be wanting to see the movie.
Anoreth phoned: she got her orders for Gunner’s Mate school, beginning in early October. And some turkey (”The Ops Chief”?) got booted off the boat, but it wasn’t her fault because she was here.

"The Offspring will be wanting to see the movie." I wouldn't say it isn't suitable for the pre-teens.
I'd say it isn't appreciable. Kinda like Fred Savage's response to the kissing scenes in "Princess Bride".
Good story, though, and a good wrap-up. It's almost like J. K. had this sort of thing in mind all along.

13 and up. I rarely take anyone younger to the theater: they can wait for DVD. The byos won’t get it at all, until Pat decides to read all the books and then explain every discrepancy to them.

"The byos wont get it at all, until Pat decides to read all the books and then explain every discrepancy to them." Pat hasn't read the books? Even I have read all the books.
I wish he would. There are a number of discrepancies I'd like to have explained to me.

Once Pat reads the books, he will drive us all insane. To the extent we aren’t already.
