The New York Congressman under fire for allegedly sending a crotch picture to a female student faced fresh controversy today after it emerged he follows a string of glamorous women on Twitter.
Anthony Weiner has almost 50,000 fans on the social networking site, but he has chosen to follow just 198 in return - many of whom are attractive young females, and include a porn star, 'Miss Ginger Lee'.
Yesterday the 46-year-old desperately tried to dodge questions from reporters about the photograph of a pair of bulging underpants sent from his Twitter account to a pretty 21-year-old student in Seattle last Friday. He claims his account was attacked and the picture posted as a prank, but the allegations have once again focussed attention on Mr Weiner's playboy past.

He's been doing it for years, via Twitter and face to face before the pervaisive Internet.
Chasing a Congressional intern 2 days after 911 is possibly the biggest bombshell in this article.
Somebody at the Daily Mail is really digging into this story.

Okay...so if Dan Wolf hacked Weiner's twitter account was the picture of Wolf's or Weiner's private part or was it of some unknown male's?
Or, next question...did Wolf have a pic of Weiner that he posted on Twitter? That's another issue if some guy has a lewd pic of Weiner.
Someone needs to be direct in their questioning: whose weiner was it that was on Weiner's account and sent privately to the gal in Seattle?
How does anyone prove it is not his own "member" unless there is some sort of inspection and comparison...ugh!!!
And where is Huma? Why havent we heard from her?

I read through 50 posts in this thread and others yesterday.
We have a man who follows some 90 people with i believe 2 young girls among them. Both seem attracted to him. Apparently not that difficult to have known this.
This incident occurs and he decides to treat it as a prank.
For any number of reasons lawyering up seems odd.
Unless it is someone he knows. Someone who may have had his password. Someone with reason to be upset over his following young girls around online via Twitter. Maybe it wasn’t hacking. Maybe someone close enough to him was given or was able to get his password.
Maybe,Just Maybe,his wife did it. Hence a lawyer and no prosecution.

Just suggested to the NY GOP that they offer a reward to turn in the hacker. Why doesn’t our side know how to use the media to political advantage?

I haven’t been following any of this - but I’m guessing that the student is underage? If so this Weiner guy needs to get jail.
But if he’s sending stupid photos to adults, especially porn stars - I’m not sure what the big deal is, although I suppose it was on a tax-payer paid phone. make him a pay the fine or penalty for that. Sure it is dumb, stupid, and makes one wonder about his morality and brain-power as a Congressman - but then leave it to his local voters.
So - I’ll go with the underage thing. Try him, convict him, and toss him in jail.
He isn't even in the top 25% of brain dead in Kongress. Sheila Jackson Lee and Hank Johnson tie for dumbest in my opinion.
Weiner is a liability at this point. His wife is also a problem for the Obama Administration and as such may be considered enemy assets(Huma and Hillary).
Lastly, Weiner is hardly statesmanlike.
