The problem is we don't blow away "unarmed idiots" flopping on the floor.
So the suspect was moving on the floor?
How do you know he was not attempting to get up or suddenly produce a weapon?
Are you just guessing?

You know that two pistols were used and you heard the DA describe the five execution shots coming from a tiny Kel-Tec 380, the shots that you can see being delivered on the video, and you could see the larger pistol in the video during the initial shooting and Erslands exit from the store, why are you so childishly playing obtuse?

My bad, I missed that post. Of course at no point was I directed to that post in answer to my question until after a half dozen or more posts about it. I guess every question on a thread has to be treated with hostility, sophistry and flame-baiting.
So now we know that a round from a Taurus Judge bounced off of Antwun's head.

I think the robbery victim was railroaded.
He said the robbery suspect on the floor was moving, and clearly felt threatened, and likely feared the suspect was suddenly going to produce a weapon. Given the fact the the suspects attempted to rob store owner at gun point, and possibly murder him, I'd give the robbery victim the benefit of the doubt.

You are the one that was lying and saying that you had watched the video I posted which told you about the 380.
No wonder you guys are so ignorant about this case, you won’t try to look at it yourselves, you just keep asking the daddies to answer every little question.

This dude is guilty of using a bad caliber. If he had used a .45acp or a 12 ga., he wouldn’t of needed all those shots, and he wouldn’t be convicted of murder.
To: FourPeas
I said it at the time, I'll repeat it now...he is guilty.
When he went back, changed weapons (iirc) and then pumped rounds into a guy who was no longer a threat he ceased to be a victim acting in self-defense and became a murderer.

I'm guessing he had .410 loaded in the Judge.....whatever he had loaded at that range is going to drop you like a stone. The only question for me is what happens after.

Funny how the robbery victim suddenly becomes that bad guy, when the video clearly does not depict if the suspect was moving and was possibly deemed a potential threat by the store owner.

They must be basing the “premeditation” on him going to get the second gun, which seems like a real stretch under the circumstances.

I would too. Murder One is definitely over the top. Manslaughter at best seems far more reasonable. But the video doesn't, and can't, show everything that was happening. People rely far too much on what a video or photo appears to be showing.

It would be really easy for a crazy RX to kill whomever he wanted to - and he wouldnt need a gun.

I don't know what the guy's state of mind was, due to the acts of the now dead guy, nor what he appeared to Erslund to have been doing. I do fault Erslund for hamming it up and making himself into some kind of celebrity when he should have been keeping his mouth shut. Maybe they didn't like him for that, and it made them suspect his motives. I have no idea.

You bet. Ya can’t see the robbery suspect in the video, he could have very well made movements which the store owner believed to be a potential threat.

Tiger, I linked it in post 15..... I posted the video in post 12. I would have thought the DA voice over would have made it clear about the pistols, but here is a screen capture from the video in post 12, such a long, long time ago.

You did not hear the DA describe the Kel-Tec 380 as being used for the five shots? You did not see the very large pistol used at the beginning of the shooting in the video? You did not watch the video posted in post 12.
