You know it might be a religious thing. Like the way Judaism and Islam mandate the prompt burial of the dead.

Maybe he has to remarry "before the second moon" or something like that...

This sounds very familiar. Remember Laci Peterson? She disappeared while walking her dog. The dog was found roaming around with his leash trailing behind him. The rat husband very quickly became a suspect when his girlfriend saw him on TV and contacted the police. She hadn’t know he was married.

Maybe Michael Schiavo was his relationship counselor.

Police detectives anywhere except in Colorado might find this behavior a little suspicious.

According to the Gazette on 6 May, With warm weather expected this weekend, investigators implored the public to be on the lookout for her body while outside.

Guess we need some more of that global warming weather.

Papers for the divorce had been filed bet it wasn’t final at the time of the disappearance.

Maybe this time he can marry a woman that won’t abandon him.

Well if the wife’s gone anyway, why shouldn’t he remarry?

I'm with you brother. I lost half my paycheck too.

Divorce law is crazy. I never thought about the husband killing the wife thing, until I got divorced myself. Not condoning it in any way, and I do not sympathize with it, but, I have to say I 'understand' the motivation a whole lot more now. It is my opinion that Family Law is so unreasonable, draconian, and illogical, that it contributes to this kind of crime. That is why it is so common.

It is extortion pure and simple. Yes I had never thought about until divorce as well. Again not condoning it nor would I do it but I can understand the anger and rage

Extortion is absolutely right. When you say ‘I do’, you’re not thinking of Sheriffs, and jail, and lawyers, and court dates, and all the stuff that comes with it.

And it is nutty extortion too. I got behind on my payments while on active duty. When I got back, I found out they suspended my driver’s license.

She is the one who did the divorce, for the money, and to bang other guys. I wasn’t even there. And yet, I’m the criminal.

Because I was late paying her and her new boyfriend, the courts banned me from driving to work. How does that fix anything!? Jeez man...WTF? These people are insane.

Anyone thinking of marriage these days should talk, just a 30 min consult, with a divorce lawyer first, just to see what you are getting into and the potential liabilities. Then they should go talk to a Sheriff to see how it plays out in real life. If they still want to get married, then more power to them. I wish I knew then, what I know now.
JMHO

Well, once you have the technique perfected, you can always bring it out again if things go sour again.
