So women really do like to see men being miserable?

I have always wondered but dared not ask.

In my experience, I find that many females tend to prefer males who appear dangerous and assertive where intimate relations are considered.

They maintain friendship with the nice guys, should moving or home maintenance become necessary.

This is just an observation, not a statement of fact. I also found that other than grocery shopping on Thursday, the best way to meet girls is walking a puppy.

Basically. In my humble opinion, I believe the trick is to always maintain a poker face. Just keeping a somewhat alert but otherwise blank expression at all times. The exception might be when hanging out with the guys. But letting women see any evidence of any kind of emotion always seems to lead to problems. Of course inwardly we can be as happy as clams.

They just want to get a preview of the face you’ll definitely have after you marry them and they succeed in making you truly miserable, that’s all.

My wife (unfortunately) all really enjoy it when I manage to hurt myself. Whether it’s stubbing my toe, hitting my thumb with a hammer, tripping over the cat/dog/children, she laughs. Out loud.

Where’s my money for a study of this phenomenon?

Foolish women do; wise women do not.

Not me! I like a happy man, one that looks pleased to look forward to me.
