A 15-year-old boy was arrested May 13 on charges of battery.
A man told deputies, according to an Okaloosa County Sheriff's arrest report, that he was walking home from the Fort Walton Beach Skating Center when he was stopped by the teen.
The boy asked if the man wanted to fight and the man told him no. The boy then began to punch the man on his arm and face.
The boy later told deputies he punched the man because he "mean mugged" him, which meant he stared at him.
They need to smack that kid around for a half an hour.
Who comes up with this !@#$? “Mean mugged”? As in your mug looked mean?
There’s a good chunk of this upcoming generation that’s going to have a rough time going through life when no one, particularly not their bosses, is kissing their behinds and patting their heads for a job well done.
When’s the last time you got good service at a restaurant? No really.
/random
The street mentality sickness appears to be progressing to new levels of stupidity.
Iow, he stared at the POS with (justifiable) contempt.

The sense of entitlement is astonishing. We are already seeing kids of “helicopter parents” who are amazed when not only do they not get the job when they apply but then when Mommy and/or Daddy call the prospective employer and they STILL don’t get the job!
Go figure, right?
The Fort Walton Beach area used to be Americas best kept secret, such a beautiful fun place. I see it’s been ruined for a while now.
“Mean mugged”?! Who the hell comes up with such garbage? =.=

Frankly, I have found service industry personnel to be much more polite in the last few years. Whether from self-interested corporate directives or from individuals realizing they need customers to continue to be employed, it is a slight movement in the right direction.
These kids have no sense; but if I was non educated as they are; I probably wouldn’t either.
A ghetto of the mind.
Large portions of our Country was settled and developed by men with little formal education. They were definitely not thugs.
They may have been uneducated but you can be damned sure they were taught wrong from right, manners and civility. A huge difference than the ‘thugocracy’ these kids are growing-up with in the home and on the streets.
If you haven’t seen Destin (used to be known as the “Best Little Fishing Village in the World”) for a while, you’re in for a shock.
Sometimes it’s good not to read the local paper.
Those were men that raised there kids right you liberal snot.
I figured it had to be a ......... black ......... thing.
Sigh, those excitable Amish are at it again.............
This country is falling apart. There will be blood. Oceans of it.

Our forefathers didn't have the luxury of education in most cases. But they were still smart and learned what they needed to in order to survive.
People who aren't educated today have to go out of their way to be ignorant moronic fools. That's the culture to which he refers.
