I tend to agree.

I gave up trying to pay attention to all the various health alerts decades ago.

One would come out. Months/years later, the opposite would come out.

Ironically, most tended come down on the side of the issue that their funding source supported.

I agree. Everything they have been telling us since the 80's is B.S.! I read Gary Taubes' book Why We Get Fat" and my reaction after I put the book down was anger. Anger at all the lies that all the nannys have been telling us for all these years. I highly recommend his book. The first half is basically him taking apart all of the "studies" that have been done throughout the years telling us fat was bad for us. The second half of the book is a very well-done telling of how the human body works in terms of how it processes what type of foods. I need to read the second half again to really get in into my brain, but, I learned a lot from that book.

When my husband read the book, he had the same reaction I did, anger.
