I tend to judge the potential field of GOP candidates through a BTO or “Better Than Obama” rating system.
For instance in 2008,McCain,Huckabee and Romney were “6s”meaning's six times better for America than Obama.
Ron Paul was (and still is) a 4,Fred Thompson an 8 and Karl Marx a 2 (I know old dead Karl wasn't running but he was there with Obama in spirit).

Cain is a 9 as is Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachman.Perry and Allen West are both 8s.
The rest are 6s and below.
To me the ratings are based on conservatism, charisma, smarts and panache—being real good at one can outweigh to some extent not being so good at another.
Oh BTW,they ain't no tens!
—unless we can resurrect the Gipper.

Is there anything to the statement that he said his ideas wouldn’t actually work or is the OP leaving out info?

A) I don't know what "the OP" is.

B)He did slip up. I didn't catch it the first time around. His plan does make sense, though. Pay the interest on the debt, pay the military, pay current Socialist Security recipients, pay current Medicare responsibilities. Everything else is on the table.

He did allow Wallace to trip him up but his plan does make sense.

To me, anyways.

It sounds to me like his shortcoming was not explaining the difference between “what works right now” (as in BEFORE he would become Pres) vs. what has to be done in the next few years to avoid further disaster.

“OP” means “original poster” as in the person who posted the thread initially.

If Mooseshell can get away with the outfits she wears as First Lady, then I can't see how you can criticize a mans tie!

So, now we elect on proper attire? If that were the case, Obummer & the ghetto tramp would have been gone the first day!

Disgruntled ex employee alert? Cashing in by trashing your boss alert?

A leatherhead should care a bit more about honor, don't you think? All her AKANG Troops loved her to death. Many of her current Security Staff are former Seal and Ranger volunteers who would rather take a bullet than see her hurt.

Got integrity, grunt? Nah. I didn't think so. So, tell us; do you beat on all women, or just Palin?

If Cain gets the Republican nomination, then he will be elected the next President.

The hard part for Cain is beating the elitist, inside the beltway, check pant GOP Republicans. They DO NOT view Cain as a threat, but if they do. I can promise you they will go after Cain.

What that group GOP Ghouls want is Mitt Romney. This is because they know he will lose in 2012. Now Romney could have won in 2008. That’s why we got McCain. Don’t you understand the game?

8 years Clinton, 8 years Bush and now 8 years Obama.

Any of the following candidates that could defeat Obama.... Palin, Cain, even Trump (if he was in it) could win. This is why the GOP establishment in Washington goes after them.

Until we can rid the party of the Karl Roves, Bill Kristols, Lindsey Grahams, etc... there will basically be no opposition party in Washington.

This is also why it did not surprise me when the Republicans in the House of Representatives caved to Obama on the budget after they were elected in 2010 (overwhelmingly).

The Politics of personal destruction. If your candidate is upstaged, then bring down the opposition at all costs. And, I might say, you wasted very little time in doing so,

By posting a video and encouraging all to watch it? Lame. You’re better than that, psycho.

"If your candidate is upstaged..."

As you well know, my candidate is Palin. Please, tell us all, who "upstages" Palin? I'll wait....

...

CNN bumps O'Bunghole's speeches to give "Breaking News" updates on her Tweets! Who the hell are you kidding? At least find a straw man that doesn't make people belly-laugh next time, n'kay?

LMAO

If you are referring to the interview on Sunday, I watched it real time.

You are clearly grasping at straws here. The man declared only 2 days ago, has an impeccable past and honorable history, and already you have him beaten down as completely incompetent and unworthy.

I thought you would have understood what it is you are doing better than most, since you repeatedly complain about how Palin has been so dishonored and wrongfully abused by the press. Here you go, doing the same hypocritical thing as the Liberal MSM and are not even aware of it.

But you are going one step further, and fabricating your own vanity hit pieces without the MSM doing it for you.

Something truly IS lame here, and it's not me!

She regularly does a good job upstaging herself.

. . . and Palin's solution is what?

You criticize Herman Cain for his stumble, but what has Sarah done or said to show that she has any answer to the same question? Show me her solution to the debt problem. Show me her solution to the failed economy.

Put up or shut up, I believe is the turn of phrase.

We are all anxiously awaiting your response.

Cain has previously admitted in the SC debate that he wasn't an expert on foreign policy, but that he would get experts and knowledge when he was president. I much prefer someone who knows he is not an expert because he will seek wise advise and wisdom before making decision.

I think the worst thing is someone who is ill informed on a topic, but sees himself as an expert and proceeds to make decisions from ignorance, not wisdom.

Yeah, we'd all be much better off with Palin the quitter. Herman Cain only successfully transformed a failing Burger King region into the most profitable region in the franchise, then turned to Godfather's Pizza and transformed it from failure to success, then bought the company and ran it.

His credentials so far out strip Palin's, that it ain't even close . . . let's see, a quitter or a success . . . not even a close call.

"His credentials so far out strip Palin's, that it ain't even close..." LMAO!!!!!

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Yeah, now if only he could elucidate a plan that he thinks will work. And hey, plan or no plan, he is black. We all know that's the only requirement any more. And hey, if Cain doesn't make it, the janitor at my old High School is black, too. He'd make a great president!

Although he did quit smoking, so maybe he's just a "quitter" too, huh?

BTW, did you see Cain's bitchin' tie? WOW, what a presidential accoutrement. Dat man can sho 'nuff accessorize. Yo, yo.
