Mitch Daniels is not running for president due to family considerations. This below was forwarded to me in an email.
From: Eric Holcomb (Indiana Republican Party Chairman) The following is from Governor Mitch Daniels…. “I hope this reaches you before the public news does. If so, please respect my confidence for the short time until I can make it known to all.
The counsel and encouragement I received from important citizens like you caused me to think very deeply about becoming a national candidate. In the end, I was able to resolve every competing consideration but one, but that, the interests and wishes of my family, is the most important consideration of all. If I have disappointed you, I will always be sorry. If you feel that this was a non-courageous or unpatriotic decision, I understand and will not attempt to persuade you otherwise. I only hope that you will accept my sincerity in the judgment I reached.
Many thanks for your help and input during this period of reflection. Please stay in touch if you see ways in which an obscure Midwestern governor might make a constructive contribution to the rebuilding of our economy and our Republic.
Even Mitch Daniels’s wife would run from Karl Rove.
It would be tough no doubt but she hasn’t been hammered the way Palin has these past two years. Plus IMO she’s a better speaker and will interview with anyone, not just friendly Fox News. Oh and she doesn’t use lame phrases like lamestream media and WTF.
Palin is to Obama.

Please! Everybody will be hammered if they are near or get the GOP nomination just like Sarah. McCain was the medias best friend but once he got the nomination he was beat up by them just the same even though he was a moderate.
Besides you are a Bachmann support and don’t like Palin anyhow, [which is your right BTW], so its too early in the morning to argue back and forth but I’ll say this every time Sarah is live or people who usually don’t like her see her for themselves away from the media filters, they like her and like what she says, there was an analyst or study of this starting with her VP speech, to the VP debates to her Tucson Arizona speeches...etc
So campaigning is the key to changing attitude, I don’t dislike Bachmann by the way, so no harm

I agree with you that Rush Limbaugh relentlesly pounding Mitch Daniels all last week may be the real reason that he will not run for the GOP Presidential Nomination in 2012, if this report of him not running for president is accurate.
'Family Considerations' will be Daniels' official reason for not seeking the presidency, but in reality, the submarine USS Rush Limbaugh sank ole Mitchie boy's presidential hopes before his presidential ship ever left the harbor with a full 6 bow torpedo salvo.

You gotta wonder if the RNC/GOP will try and dig up yet another McCain clone whose “TURN” has come up! Pathetic! They might want to learn what being a conservative is all about.
Palin loses if she runs.
Sad as well. We have people such as Herman Cain and Condi Rice that could have made excellent top executives but will not get the chance in the foreseeable future IMHO.
Zero has set race relations back at least 20 and maybe 30 years. He has done such a hit job that those who had erased most vestiges of prejudice in their minds over a period of years are now beginning to think twice again.
It was all part of zeros plan to create groups in the country instead of a "United" States. His plan was always to divide and conquer and to a certain extent he has had some measure of success.
Think about it,when you see a black person these days,many of us automatically think,ahhh yes yet another one who gave us ozero.

Here is the catch 22 in that logic.
The vote will hinge on middle of the roaders, NPA's.
Now fast forward to a year from this November.
If you are a middle of the roader and have watched your country being destroyed by a pretend potus who has done his best to destroy the country at every avenue from the budget to housing to business to foreign destruction of the US image worldwide you enter the voting both while asking yourself 'am I really better off than four years ago?'
Now you have a choice between Sarah and someone whose name you are not even sure of, who will the you the middle of the roader vote for?
Frankly, I will take my chances with Sarah Palin any ol' day.

You saw the light. The secular rightwing pundits favored you by 3-1, but potential Republican voters in the primaries knew all too well that you were a squish.
