I have absolutely NO problems with this.
Why?
From the article it’s a privately organized event being held at a Lutheran university.
So if they want to hold a Hmong spelling bee on their own time and their own dime....good for them.
I don’t know about spelling, but the Hmong were good allies, soldiers and paid a terrible price for helping us in Laos on the Plain of Jars. They kicked the Pathet Lao Commies butts.
Vang Pao was a leader. We helped him with the likes of Tony Poe, Pop Buelle and Bill Lair.
I am glad some of them made it here, a lot died on the way.
Known some of the Hmong; VERY good folks.
