I saw a film clip of the Iowa man "shaking" old newt's hand and blasting him but good. First, newt tried to apologize...then newt tried to "break the grip" of the handshake....all the while the Iowa man was castigating old newt up one side and down the other while maintaining the near death grip on old newt's hand. Near the end, newt was at a loss for words, the Iowa voter dropped the "handshake" and turned his back on old newt.

I would highly suggest we all - at least figuratively - do the same.

Newt public is Newt private, always ready to loose a torrent of words to explain why he really didn't do what it seemed he did or does as he always intended to do what it didn't seem that he did or does.

Newt is intelligent, arrogant, smug, loves America almost as much as he loves Newt, and he has been in the DC circle jerk for so long that real truth and facts are not as important as is his current statement.

Great article and so funny and true. You have just described the entire OLD REPUBLICAN PARTY in this description of NEWT. He is not alone in this, they all are, they have never wanted to be in POWER, reason being they can come out and mouth they are against the Dems, knowing the DEMS will pass all the bills and get the blame.

The REPUBs that can just sit back, rake in the $$$ from lobbyist, etc., get reelected as we keep hoping if only we had more REPUBs.

I for one am sick and tired of the old SICK AND TIRED Republicans.

Are we doing any better with the NEW TEA PARTY Republicans?, WE HOPE, but honestly I think not in the long run. It is just how the game is played in WASHINGTON, the $$$$ are just to enticing and they sell out.

The saddest thing is, we know the Dems are the most evil of them all, they hide nothing. But we pray for better with the Republicans, yet never get it. They are all liars. ALL!
