I do.
Sorry Trump left early BUT—I say the more the better! Sarah should jump in, so should other right thinking Republicans. Failure to enter the race at this time might be cause to look at their patriotism. We need ideas, new directions, fresh talk, and a new vision of America. Sarah P. could do it! So I support her and all others. God Bless Cane for sticking to his ideas, so can be said of Paul—even Newt and the Mittster. Let the games begin!
“She certainly lost that battle and incurred damage.”
Yes, but since then she has prospered mightily and is winning the war. Yes it is a war, so far fought with words rather than weapons. She has shown strategic vision, and would be a fine CoC in my opinion.
10/10
By all means, let's keep her in the kitchen where she belongs! Maybe Todd can give her a weekly allowance to buy groceries and clothing, too.
Of course, she'll have to wait until he can fill her car with gas, as that's a job for the menfolk.
Thanks for Proving Vermont Lt so absolutely correct!
How so?
She would be one of four. Cain, West, Palin, Bachmann are the four I would like to see running. I believe Cain would do the best against der Fuehrer but any combination of the above as the ticket would, I believe, give us a president/VP who could take back the Republic and the Constitution. I am sick of hearing that Cain does not have the “charisma” or political experience to be credible. This is crap. Charisma is what gave us der Fuehrer and is what gave Germany their Fuehrer in 1932. Charisma is fine in a preacher or a used car salesman but is nothing but a false face for politicians. We need honest and sincere dedication to the Constitution and the people of this country, not some smooth talker with executive hair like mitt the twit. The level of charismatic political experience we currently have in the house/senate and many of the governorships is directly related to the massive problems we now have and has brought us unbridled “bipartisanship” and career vote buyers.
FUBO & FAD
If Palin ran then we could have with a Bachmann run and Herman Cain also around, three people attacking Obama who are as conservative as they come. One of them would win and put the other two to good use in supporting them and even as running mate. Just a thought.
Well said.
I still disagree. I think it was an all too easy way to back out and start her national book and speaking tours.
This was her right and it may have indeed helped her state and it certainly helped her personal wealth.
However, she lost my vote in the primaries if indeed she does run. I will of course vote for her if she is the nominne choosen to run against Obama.
Agreed. I think we can have a good, strong conservative bench. We just have to get through the next several weeks and see who is in and who is out. Then the debates will sort people out and rip 0bama several new ones.
Look. I have no problem with you if you disagree, FRiend. We have different opinions. Cool.
I don't think it is reasonable to criticize her, though, simply because she is accomplished and prepared enough to have a nice parachute for when she bails out. I admire her for that. YMMV.
“How about: I just dont like her. I dont trust her.”
I’d have to ask, “why not?”. I can’t think of a single instance in her public life that she’s been deceptive. She strikes me as the most honest politician in the game at the national level. She certainly didn’t go along with “politics as usual” when she cleaned up the swamp in Alaska after taking office.
“I dont like the way she runs her family.”
Specifics? Her family seems well adjusted to me. She and Todd seem to have a solid relationship. Where’s the beef?
“I dont like the way she left her job.”
I’m sure she didn’t like it much either, but you need to do more research into exactly what options she had. I view what she did as a brilliant strategic calculation given the situation, and I think she’s better positioned for a Presidential run than if she’d remained Governor.
“I dont think she has the experience to be President.”
This continues to strike me as ridiculous. It’s true that experience plays some role in the Presidency. However, what is it about being Governor (as in GWB, or RWR) that so greatly qualifies one to be Commander in Chief and the Chief Executive?
I’d argue that there’s a qualitative difference between being Governor and being President. Even so, Sarah Palin has enough experience as Governor to be credible. (This is as opposed to say, Michele Bachmann or Herman Cain for instance - they are two more at which the “not enough experience” accusation will fly). You might also want to read up on the background of Harry Truman, who acquitted himself well as President without even a college degree.
All that said, though, I’d say other attributes are more important than “experience”, especially at the crossroads we’re at today.
Leadership, principles and integrity are what this nation needs in its next President, and in my view Sarah Palin exemplifies all of them brilliantly. She is a true Conservative firebrand that can right the course of America!
Palin ‘12!!!
By all means, let's keep her in the kitchen where she belongs! Maybe Todd can give her a weekly allowance to buy groceries and clothing, too. Of course, she'll have to wait until he can fill her car with gas, as that's a job for the menfolk.Yes, sort of like June Cleaver! :)
Great! Wow it’s like we’re having a reasonable converstaion here. Someone needs to alert JimRob immediately lol.
Well let’s continue...
Do you think it is wise to wait this long to announce even an exploratory com.?
If you do think it is wise when do you think is the right time for her to announce?
NOT HER TIME TO RUN. Get a grip. I love her, but you all need to face the reality of this next election.
If she is on the ticket Obama is guaranteed another four years in the White House and we can all kiss our country goodbye.
Disagree. Your position lacks evidence.
I think it is risky but beneficial. No risk, no reward. At the same time, I don't have access to all the information she has so I can't judge when the optimum time would be to announce. All I know is that the media and the 0bama camp want this campaign season to run from now on and it is way too early for it. Starting it too early dilutes the energy of a challenge from the non-incumbent.
Sarah needs to wait awhile and jump in when she can build a wave that will peak at the right time and not become diluted by boredom. That is a difficult task because she has to be in early enough to get early states to vote for her.
I'm glad I'm not running for POTUS. I couldn't do it (not to mention a whole bunch of reasons why I couldn't be POTUS anyway...)
Sarah has said it ... it too early to declare. People began to say two years ago, her bloom was waining.
The point is the support builds and then begins to fall away as the enthusiasm passes a bit.
Timing is critical. When she comes on strong, and is building and drawing supporters by her ideas and speeches, amid liberal medias criticism, and the twisting, and on going derogatory reports, it does have an effect.
Sarah is plenty smart. When said she would not run an ordinary campaign, she meant it, so hold on, I expect her to blast off few months later than most.
God bless America, and Sarah Palin.
me. She’s the one...
No flame suit needed, just a reminder that she stated a valid reason for the resignation; the distractions of the harassing lawsuits and constant attacks would have impacted on her ability to give the best service to the people of Alaska. As it was, she did more for Alaska in 2 1/2 years than most governors do in multiple terms!
